I'm in the same boat... Unfortunately, the KO route is the only one aside from paying for another official figure, to have the same thing happen. Again. On the plus side, you will probably end up with good replacements for the chrome parts too!

i found a good fix for the broken pegs on the Takara flight stands. I think it was @Agent 539 that recommended Tamashii Stage 4 stands? Well, that was a great call because you can switch out the broken piece on the TT arm with the Tamashii ones. I have them in different lengths now to give variety to my shelf. Great stuff and thought some would like this too. The Red Alert stand has my old fix of a metal 5mm peg for bookshelves. Check it out, @Dean ML @Sam @chchchch

Seems like it. Just hope the KO is sturdier than the original.

Agreed! I bought three packs from HLJ a few months back. Currently have Road Rage propped up on one.

    I'm the interest of balance...

Soundwave, no question. He's in another league from Megatron ;)

Seriously check out the Masterpiece Top Of The Pops link in my sig and you'll see how I and others rate thier MPs.

It's a GLORIOUS toy! I must admit ever since I broke the little piece on his waist, he's no longer been perfect in my mind and made it easier to edge him towards being sold, knowing I could one day replace him with a perfect copy - always wanted to see if the reissue MP-36 fixed any of the original's issues.

But mainly, I don't collect MP any more and in order to be able to continue buying G1 and new Diaclone, I needed to raise some toy budget.

    Also roof repairs.

    All the best

I much preferred having the money from MP-11T and MP-11SW at the time I sold them (and would even now hehe). MPs can be a great way to raise some fast cash when needed, and the beauty of them is they can generally be repurchased easily enough.

@Maz from what I’ve read the 36 reissue did have improved paint and some tighter joints, so down the line you’d probably be better with that reissue or maybe even a third release, if you do do repurchase him at any point.

Absolutely what I was hoping for, in terms of mould improvements and my plan for the future. Sunstreaker is also on that future repurchase list.

So great seeing your setup and poses! So the Tamashii stands' pegs are much sturdier? Do they have a metal pin in there or something to reinforce them? That jumping Grapple pose is pure balls! I'm too chicken to display Ironhide flying now (though I might give it another shot once Bluestreak+ is in hand).

Maz, pretty much everything is as tight or tighter on my Megatron reissue vs my 1st release except for the chest piece. It's not that it slips off too easily, but it rotates out of place if nudged. No big bother. Biggest thing was the tighter right arm swivel and backpack unit. Still my favorite figure ever, but I'm hoping MP-44 knocks him off the top of the mountain! Wouldn't mind a new Starscream and Soundwave in that same hyper articulated, flight stand compatible, fully painted, gimmick laden, anime homage league, too ;)

Great to hear! Yeah an updated Starscream would be one I'd cast an eye over, that and Mirage.
