MP Thrust has landed!!

I haven’t had a version of the MP-11 mould for the last two and a half years. I stopped at Ramjet, so had yet to experience Thrust.

He looks so good! The colours, the new parts, that face sculpt, those golden eyes.

Be still my beating heart! It’s nice to have a Decepticon grunt to back up Megatron and Shockwave. And chase away those pesky new Autobots too



I’d like to thank (blame) @Arie and @Dean ML and others for the final pushes over the edge. Hell, I hold all of you in this thread responsible!

 

That’s what I like to see Sam, passing the buck around. Despite the issues that he has, Thrust is a very nice looking Conehead. If you get Dirge, you’ll see the difference in both and they are truly night and day.

I agree, and it was definitely better that I was prepared for all the issues, and that I'd experienced MP-11 before. My main fear was that he'd have a nick on the white paint of his nose, but it's fine (just a small mark below his chin, and a speck in his eye which are barely noticeable).

I think I will change his insignia for toon ones, and maybe get rid of the orange cockpit seat - I don't know if anyone's noticed but I do like to mod my MPs sometimes  

LOVE his red. Perfect mean Decepticon red. The main reason I want him and Dirge is for the colour palette! I think he'll look even better alongside 29+. Only 6 weeks or so now  

 

The expression of the Coneheads are great and really captures their personalities. You can just look at Thrust and tell he’s a smart ass with the sneer he sports.

 

Agreed! It’s one instance where I don’t really miss having no alternate faces (unlike Hot Rod or Starscream).

 

I really wish Takara would make this happen as all of the supporting bots in this pic would not violate any license!!!

Yeah I saw that too when someone posted it a week ago or so. Unfortunately it's actually out of stock. The sale started on September 20th, so that's kinda unsurprising.

By the way, I'm thinking of picking up that MP-40 Targetmaster Rodimus, but I'm unsure. I kind of like the AKOM deco and the fact that it has a Targetmaster. I'm on the fence about Shadow Panther as well.

Anyone diving in and getting the toy deco Megaton and Shockwave?
