Ok I have a little more time to reply now. That Blue Prime looks sweet, but I don't think it's anything more than just a custom at this point. Ironhide was custom painted into all sorts of different delivery vans, and I think this is in the same vain. At least I hope so. I was expecting the Gold Prime to be the metaphorical nail in the coffin.

If they redid Starscream or the original Lambo mold I'd replace them all. Sure there's some caveats like how I'm still waiting for Deepcover. And if they made a new Sideswipe and only did Deepcover in a V2 mold I'd be pretty confused with what to do there haha.

The newer figures are really putting me in a tight spot because they're so amazing to me that I am starting to see older figures as waisted potential. And I don't like that feeling.

Actually the only figures I am truly unsatisfied with are MP-10 (problem solved there innit), MP-11, and MP-12. Every other mold is fine by my own standards. If they went out of their way to make an Ultra Magnus that was slimmer in bot mode and had more articulation I'd appreciate that as well.

The Bapes were so damn fun for me to track down I really do not want to sell them.
Scouring different forums with translators and downloading all kinds of sketchy apps, and taking extreme gambles by paying strangers to go to a mall and pick up an item for me in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan and mail them all on a hunch that I thought it was real and not a KO was a hell of a journey for me. I wish I had documented it. It would probably be fun for me to relive.

If a handful of people with super-deep pockets weren't sort of hounding me right now to sell I wouldn't even care. But with all the sweetass V3 repaints I hope to be able to purchase I need more space in my tiny house. And the Fear of Missing Out on MP-10A is strong. If I sell it I'll never see another one. Ever. This is a much more difficult decision than it should be.

I might still pick up a spare. They're not as expensive as they used to be. You see more and more people selling them too, probably because of FT Grinder and the heavily anticipated Gigapower version.

Lol yeah. I don’t mean to sound like an ungrateful person there haha. You’re correct. It’s a fine problem to have :D

I feel like this would be a neat thread discussion: what is the oldest figure in your collection?

edit: by that I mean date that you added it to your collection not the release date of the figure.

Haha nah you didn't come across as ungrateful. I guess these MP-10 repaints will probably retain their value (like most MPs do), so you can always make the decision as you start buying OP-3 repaints? For every new Prime, sell an old one :lol

Sounds like you went to great lengths to get those BAPEs! And who knows, I reckon we won't even get the same obscure repaints out of OP-3 (sleep mode, a + version, maybe a Magnus repaint of the + version, possibly a Golden Lagoon one), so if you want all your Primes covered you may as well keep them.

Your right, that does sound like an adventure. Your Bape Convoys certainly can tell some rich stories. If we start seeing more V2 and V3 releases, I’ll keep the original releases but space is the ultimate issue. I can understand your feelings with MP-10. It’s funny that I was fine with MP-10 before the official announcement of V3 and then MP-10 became a placeholder. I plan to keep him but he will vehicle mode Prime and V3 will be the robot mode.

Who knows, I may pre-order two V3s if the price is right.

    7/8, so close.

Now it is just a question of Dorito or Blitzscream. Can't really say which would pair better with MP-11 yet. I mean Blitzscream looks closer to a movie adaptation of the G1 design but the other 3 movie MPMs are from the original trilogy.

I've owned Starsaber for quite a while now and just today realized his shoulders unlock for a semi butterfly joint.

Seeing Star Saber reminds me that I have to install those KFC upgrades I bought for him last year.

I'm glad they reissued MP10B since I missed out the first time:

Forgive the massive amount of filters, I have no studio, and crappy lighting in my house (its night time in the UK), but Primal is a Magnificent Bastard.
I've still not seen Beast Wars, so for now in my head he's eeevil!

My first MP was Sideswipe, December 2012. My second was MP10B Nemesis Prime, in April 2013.
If we're talking not just MP, I still have most of my childhood G1 Transformers. No idea which I've had the longest though (1980something to now).
