I see quite some people displaying Sideswipe and Wheeljack withour their shoulder cannons. I can't remember them not wearing those in the cartoon, or did they?

 

Pretty sure Sideswipe wasn't wearing his in the first episode when they're still flying the Ark.

 

Bluestreak doesn't have his shoulder cannons either.

 

When they are not engaged in battle I would think they wouldn't be equipped. The Autobots were portrayed as peaceful until pushed into battle.

 

Totally agree. That's why sometimes it's nice to pose them without any guns at all, which is something people also rarely do. Generally the Autobots were just hanging around without guns in their hands, after all.

 

That's right, and hilariously when he does have shoulder cannons after those asteroids collide he's painted as Prowl:



 

 

I have my collection posed without guns. My movie/S3 cast have guns and Star asaber has his sword. Everyone else displays with an accessory item.

Thanks. I guess their shoulder cannons are so iconic, I can't remember Wheeljack and Sideswipe without them!

 

This line just gets better with each release

 

It is odd to see them displayed without their shoulder cannons. The cannon on Sideswipe goes up enough to cheat a left profile but with Wheeljack, there is zero give for a right profile.

With Hound and Mirage, I hope TT can give us at least a 45 degree range of motion on the y axis. Trailbreaker and Hoist, not worried about that so much.

 

Not sure if this goes in Titans Returns of Masterpiece thread....so I'll throw it in both!
