Thank you! It hasn't aged well artwork wise. What was the title? Just 'Prey'?
Nice! And same question. Are those Ikea Billy bookcases with glass shelves and doors? I'm thinking about getting one.
yes they are!
I know it's probably been asked about and discussed repeatedly, but among the recent MP releases (Hot Rod, Ironhide, Ratchet, Shockwave), what chrome parts are in need of future polish treatment?
As a bonus, are there any parts on any Fans Toys releases (regular versions, not the X releases) that could also benefit from it?
If there's another thread dealing with this already, direction to it would be appreciated.
Which chrome parts? All of them. The recent chrome is worse than shit.
Future everything that's chromed
Also protect the paint surrounding the four chromed headlights on the IH/R mould. Paint chipped on the corners of mine for no other reason than shoddy manufacturing.
I own three of FT's Dibots which have lots of chrome coverage. No issues with it whatsoever, even with Server which through it's transformation requires the chrome to be robust.
I've owned Scoria and Soar (so glad I sold them off) and Scoria's tail chrome chipped just after a few transformations. Also Soar was stripping paint (not chrome) on every transformation.
First I want to say that I am enjoying all of the great pics you are contributing to this thread!
I just wanted to pop in and add a reminder to note the rules in the first post, and make sure that the focus of your pics are official Has/Tak Masterpiece Transformers.
Photos that contain only 3P subjects will most likely be removed.
If you have awesome pics that focus on 3rd party MP figures, you should feel free to contribute here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...39900-3p-masterpiece-appreciation-thread.html
Anecdotally I'd say your figures were the exception, not the rule.
Plenty of shared issues have been raised about the Dibots, chrome and paint chipping aren't amongst them.
Not the Magnus reissue the chrome on that is fine.
No, every Soar figure suffered from paint chipping and scratching during transformation. It was poorly designed. Anyway back to chrome coverage, yes they're better applied over recent MP's.
Huh. My Soar has perfect paint and chrome, as do all my FT Dinobots; and after several transformations I might add.
I sure wish Takara would learn how to do chrome like FT.
The query was probably made in the wrong place but it deserves to be answered honestly and not in the infantile tone of the tag line you have below your username.
From owner feedback there is no pattern of chrome chipping on the Dibots.
Paint chippin?Literally first im hearing of this..None of mine have and nobody ever complained about that so yeah...i guess i will trust you lol
Nice home cinema too! Wanna get one but i think my cats will destroy the speakers with their nails
Yeah it's just called "Prey"
Come in to see posts of Masterpiece Appreciation.
Instead all I get is talk on 3rd party chrome
