I've been debating on this guy. He's actually the only Bumblebee I had growing up. You know how parents are, "You already have a red one, why do you need a YELLOW one too??" :lol

Loving the red on Boby and Clampdown as a whole, but Road Rage...sigh.

The head was bad on Tracks, but on RR nought but gravity holds it in place.

I'm not the biggest fan of the tracks mould anyway tbf, but Bobys red would have looked so much better on RR IMO.

Is Tracks a good figure? Thinking of picking him up along with some other MPs.

Hello All! Man, what a year 2015 has been! Here's every MP figure I acquired in 2015 (note: not all were released this past year):

Diaclone (that's where I put Red Boby  ):

When all is said and done, these are just toys, but overall, my family and I have been extremely blessed this year. Some highlights include being able to move into a new position with a 30% salary increase and great job security (which helped with the TF budget  ), and my aunt successfully battling esophageal cancer and making a full recovery.

Here's hoping 2016 will be even better on the Masterpiece front! With the way things look, it's trending that way. Happy New Year everybody!

Optimus Bruce and Sinestro - very nice pictures! I especially love the photo of the Diaclone figures.

You'll get as many different answers to that as there are users here! Personally, he's my least favourite of all the MPs, and I have buyer's remorse over buying Road Rage. However, that's not to say he's a bad figure - he's not, he's a good figure; he just happens to be my least favourite out of a bunch of *very* good figures. :)  But the main things I dislike about it - the weird proportions of the arms and the way the knees bend etc - can be seen in photos, so if you like the way photos look, you'll like it in hand too.

This has been a good week for MPs for me... Along with a superb 3P MP Sunstreaker stand-in, I received Road Rage, Red Bobby and Clampdown. I don't care much for Road Rage (the insect-like face and lack of paint), but the Lambor and Bumble moulds are two of my favourite MP moulds, with my favourite transformations, and Clampdown is just stunning in-hand, while Red Bobby has a glorious paint job (I *really* hope that a future Cliffjumper uses the exact same red plastic and paint, as it would be perfect for Cliffjumper). I usually regret buying repaints or Diaclone remoulds because they just take up space and I generally collect for a nostalgia itch that they don't scratch, but these guys go alongside Tigertrack (who looks so good with Stripes) and blue Bluestreak as being repaints I love.

(EDIT: Having said that, since I started writing this, Sinestro00 posted a beautiful picture of all the Diaclone/MicroMan repaints, and they look great together, so I'm starting to have less regrets about my obsessive buying habits now. :)  )

Although I'm sure Red bee is a well built figure, I would rather have seen TT release cliffjumper. They love to milk molds. I guess I can see the rationale from a business standpoint.

I was looking at the schematic artwork inside my Platimum Reissue Trypticon box. The characters shown certainly look like MP Prime, bumblebee, and was looks like a yet to be released megatron with no signs of him being a tank. Is this an indication of what's next in the TT/Hasbro MP line?

They need a whole new mould and licence for Cliffjumper, though...

Not necessarily. As has been argued to hell and back ever since Bumblebee was announced, Takara could just as easily NOT go the route of an officially licensed Porsche and instead stick to the cartoon aesthetic. And if they did, then all they need to do (and guaranteed would do in that scenario) is modify this base mold of BB. It would be about as extensive as the new Ramjet/Conehead re-mold out the main Seeker design.

    * For the record, that's not to start a debate about whether or not CJ should be an official vehicle blah blah blah for the gerbillionth time. Just pointing out the other 50% chance of how BB's mold could indeed be used to accommodate a cartoon styled CJ. At this stage, it really could go either way.

You are correct, in this scenario, they could vey well reshell bumblebee into cliffjumper. However, would it really be worth it? You compare it to mp-11nr vs mp-11, but it would need to be much more extensive I order to truly be cliffjumper. They'd need all new vehicle mode parts, a new chest with some kind of mechanism for the spoiler, new biceps, new legs, and a new head. If your going that far, it may be more cost effective to create a new mold, no matter what the decide to do for his alt. mode.

The drop down boxes to hide long posts containing lots of pics. Other websites that use this same format have them. Use them to hide long posts with lots of pics so it doesnt take 10 minutes to scroll past them. Also prevents long replies to said pics from copying all that text. A simple drop box would be super convenient.
