Smokescreen arrived today, what a nice figure, really love the colors, I´m really a fan of the mid-sized car bots.

My first Masterpiece was Acid Storm two years ago, now I have 29, 40 counting cassettes. Plus two each of 3rd party and KO's. I regret nothing.

It should have been 20th Anniversary Prime 9 years ago, when I had found him for $50. :banghead:

Congrats, man. Love my Smokescreen. Impeccable paintjob and one of my favorite maskless head sculpts - love that it's so Floro Dery!

Nice! I recommend getting his reprolabel set.

My first Masterpiece was the 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime. My first TakaraTomy release was MP-02 Ultra Magnus.

So, a small update for those who're interested (anyone?). :D

I managed to track down a legit and reasonably-priced Tigertrack, and went in on MP-18S Silverstreak as well from the same seller. I figured in for a penny, in for a pound. Managed to haggle both for £100 including shipping, so I'm pretty pleased with that. :)

I'll be sure to post pictures of both these guys and Exhaust once they all arrive.

You're going to be in for a treat, man. They're both lovely figures.

    Thanks, good to know. :)

I'd initially written off Silverstreak very easily; I don't even think I gave him more than a passing glance. I was swayed a little by a couple of the guys here mentioning him, and then I took a proper look and read a few reviews. It's fair to say that Maz's blog post about him did a lot to convince me!

Good price there mate, I got Sideswipe for £63 from Toy Arena recently for any fellow Britformers out there looking for him at a reasonable price.

I missed the boat on this guy, oh well I'm OK with him not being a part of my collection.

Probably not a lot of people that agree with me but the deco on Takara MP-06 the best of any of the MP Skywarps.

Thanks, I was pleased. Sideswipe is coming up for a re-issue soon as well, I believe?

I was as well for ages, although I've frequently had my eye on the yellow Lambo' mode. I'm thinking I will display a lot of the 'alternate version' cars such as these guys, Exhaust, Road Rage etc. in vehicle mode mostly.

PS - your new sig pic is such a tease! ;)

I wouldn't disagree. I still love MP-06 and think he looks incredible in both modes. He's definitely the best of the original Seeker trio, in my opinion, but then I also prefer MP-11SW out of the newer batch. I do love that his jet mode is all black. It looks great!

Awesome find!! i missed out on both of those, actually the only one I really wanted was Tigertrack, he's one I would love to have in my collection, I have a slight obsession with canary yellow sports cars! I had 18S in my hands at a con last year and couldn't pull the trigger he was a fair price too. Guess I was holding out hope for a blue repaint which we'll be getting a few months down the road.

Not intended to tease, it's intended to build anticipation.

I've got a two of the Exhaust figure and preordered two of the Road Rage figure but only one of the blue colored Bluestreak. I probably end up selling one of the RR figures to try and get a TT later on.

... Found this website about a month ago... Glad I am not the only one...
I grew up poor on a farm and got to play with my classmates transformers. My first transformer was Megatron for christmas. My dad bought him at a yardsale, and when I got him out of the box his legs were broken. Now that I'm older, its the thought that counts. Wound up with a neighbors used Hound as well, but he was fine and treasured.

So, now I am older, with a wife and three young kids, a Ph.D. and a good job... and I have regressed/progressed back to a 12 year old manchild. These MP characters are giving me a part of childhood I missed out on....

I bought Prowl last week... Since then I have ordered MP-5, Sideswipe, Bumblebee, Wheeljack, and Smokescreen. They should all arrive tomorrow. I need to time it just right so my wife doesn't see the UPS box before I can get them safely tucked away and hidden; I need to ease her into this new addiction. Do I have a problem? and if so, do I have to admit it?

Thanks! I have the blue version on pre-order as well. Again, it was just the vehicle mode that I couldn't resist.

In terms of display, this is sort of what I'm thinking... :D

This sounds like me minus the PhD & 3 kids back in 2002. It's going to get worse before it gets better. My recommendation is to talk to her about it now because it will be worse for you the longer you keep it a secret.

    Welcome to the boards. :thumb
