LOL, more interested in the mainline Takara's, its good to use as a checklist, I'm getting there slowly but surely.

I sympathise, its taken me about a year to negotiate my MP shelf, now it's agreed the bots are rolling in.

Nice collection so far, I'm geting the 1st series bot out of the way first, only I'm mixing it up with Cons and Bots.

Since you're quite fed up with how Taktomy handle it releases, why not make your MP collection an all star 3P MP collection?

Maybe you can phase out all your Taktomy MPs with 3P substitutes (i.e. for Seekers there's always the Igear ones & Coneheads, For MP-10 there's the much improved KO version with more paint apps) Also you can skip out on on the upcoming Tracks as I'm sure a 3P will beat Taktomy to the punch & release it much earlier.

Now with many 3P companies jumping the MP bandwagon, you have so many choices to choose from.

Question for my fellow Masterpiece Collectors, I have almost all of the Takara Masterpieces except MP-01G, MP-10 Bape Convoy, and MP-11A Acid Storm. I see that I can get the KO MP-10 Bape for about $150.00 should I get it just so I can fill the MP-10 Bape Slot? Does the MP-11A actually exist or is it just the MP-01 from Hasbro?

 

The ko is meant to be pretty good quality but not a straight copy, the ko has the shoulder Autobot symbol and the original does not. MP11A is the same as Hasbro's MP01 afaik.

 

How come I can't find any that have MP-11A on the box? Or do all of them have MP-01 on the box?

I've got one, Had to get a friend in Japan order it on the Toys R Us Japan website and it sold out in super quick time. I think with it being such a limited release the chances of seeing one on the secondary market are going to be incredibly low. Your best shot would be Yahoo Japan Auctions.

It does have MP-11A on the box but it's just a sticker over the top of the original slip.

Try and get the original Bape Convoy if you can it's a really nice piece and has a couple of differences vs the KO such as the logo placement and the windshield colour. An original one is going to get very expensive in the coming years.

 

I found a couple on Yahoo Japan auctions but I can't sign up. I cant read the authorization code, its in Japanese and google chrome wont translate it.

 

Been awhile since I've posted on here. I sacrificed Scoria and MP Bumblebee(which I'll get again some day) to afford THIS beast! Really fun to mess around with Mp and g1 toys!

Many Japanese sellers won't ship outside of Japan anyway, You'd need to use a third party like Mailorderjapan or Tenso or Buyee (there's loads of others too if you search on google)

Each will have different fees associated though.
