I know this is a TF site but I’ve been working on this since the show came out and Im so glad I finally finished this to share with everyone! it originally started as a repaint that i posted earlier, but what the hell, I decided to go all the way and made a diorama, interchangeable armor, and baby yoda! here is my custom Black Series Mandalorian with interchangeable shoulder pauldrons (beskar and sandtrooper) which attach via magnets I loved the Hasbro figure but wanted a more show accurate helmet so I made a new one. I did this by 3d printing a combination of various 1:1 scale 3d prints that I mashed together, sanded, smoothed, sculpted on top of, then painted and coated with vrious acrylics and sprays for the Beskar material look. Beskar pauldron was also 3d printed for the base shape then resculpted to finish. The shoretrooper shoulder piece also has magnets and can be re-attached! custom cape cloth with carefully poked and cut holes for weathered look 3d printed model of the child (baby yoda for now as we know it) scaled down, sanded and painted with custom clear stand Scaled to print at 1:12 for the Diorama then weathered and painted Thank you to Damaskprops, TheBrokenNerd83, Multiverse3DDesigns, Freddy1990 and Papasrecreations for their 3d models i used as bases! Hope you all like it!
Looks very nice. In stores where they sell magic tricks, you can get invisible thread. You could use this to substitute the clear plastic foot of the carriage. By suspending the carriage from the ceiling with the invisible thread. This would make it look like it is really floating.
Does it come with a actual face, or is it just a metal brick. Saw on ebay someone making a head in the shape of his actor, which is probably gonna be what happens.
Thanks everyone! Glad you all like it Been busy with work and wanted to make a better Baby Yoda some WIP Pics of a new model of baby yoda i printed, sanded, then sculpted on top. I seperated the head from the body, drilled a hole in both pieces then added a revoltech joint. Hope this will hold over for yall til the finished product
