I think a lot of folks wanted to keep lightsabers and more Force wielders out of the show but I suppose the cat's out of the bag as soon as the Darksaber showed up.

Boba Fett may return.

Hints he said came from chapter 5. The show took place on Tatooine, The place where the Sarlacc was, Where Boba Fett assumed died and took place 5 years after ROTJ.
Someone speculated that at the end, Fennec Shand was encountered by a mysterious figure they said could have been another Bounty Hunter. Plus, there were some beeping sounds in the background of that scene, the same ones during Boba's cameo in a new hope.

What would you say?

 

I'd be okay with that, though I'd also be okay with Fett staying Sarlacc-chow in canon.

 

Why exactly is Rosario Dawson a problem all of a sudden?

 

Main reason is that people were hoping for the voice actress to return, which I don't care much about.

Dawson has been campaigning hard for the role for years, I'm glad she has it.

 

That was never going to happen though, as much as I love her VA.

She also looks the part, too. She looks more like an adult Ahsoka than the Rebels version.

I guess I'm ambivalent on the Ahsoka news. I've never fallen in love with the character, but I've also only seen a handful of Clone Wars episodes. Over the summer I really need to watch more.

I'm suspecting he will At least hoping. I think if that guy on Tatooine were Mando or someone else from Season 1, we would have learned about it in episode 7 or 8. The spurs sound is really interesting to me. As is the fact that the location was Tatooine. If there was ever a perfect time to bring back Boba Fett, it would be this show. It already leans really heavily into that aesthetic. There are rumors that The Mandalorian was reworked from a Boba Fett movie. I don't necessarily need Boba to be a huge focus (like a season villain), but I would love to see him at least get a single episode devoted to him.

 

I was wondering as well as I really don't know much about her (Ahsoka) since I never watched any of the toon Star Wars episodes.

 

I wonder if they would have Ashley do the voice like they had Sam Witwer still voice Maul in Solo. I guess there was at least precedence for that since Peter Serafinowicz voiced him in TPM already. But I don’t know that they’d do that to Rosario since she really wanted the role.

I’m sure Faveroni will give Ashley a role or cameo, voice or physical, at some point though. There’s just too much of her in Ahsoka to not have her around in some capacity.

I honestly imagine Scarlett Johansson as Mara Jade myself during the time I was reading Heir to the Empire back at 2015 months before TFA was released in theaters. I'm pretty sure that's just me though.
