Sadly, yes. Just please remember the 2 drink minimum, and to tip your server.
I think if anything would have a small chance of showing up from that, it would be members from her family/clan that also showed up during "Rebels".
Yeah. I agree on that.
I just realized Emily Swallow was the lady Mando in the caves, why hire her and hide her beautiful face and assetts inside that helmet?
Is Bo-Katan still alive at this point in time?
I'm going to take a wild guess that someone like her might have jumped at a role that completely doesn't rely on her looks, either as a challenge or a change of pace.
FWIW nobody in the Mando hideout had one on, so it could be it's just not standard issue and they all happened to equip them for the battle, and the Mandalorian himself just didn't have one on his ship.
I'd love to see any cartoon characters make the jump to live-action if it's this show. (especially Ahsoka, this is Filoni after all)
But I have to say, I appreciate how this show isn't really that reference-heavy. Yeah there's easter eggs and stuff in the background, but the actual plot isn't just fanservice. It doesn't stop dead in its tracks for a cameo, or show some creature/thing that's irrelevant just so it's "there."
I can’t speak for any of the comics or books in the last few years, but it’s definitely possible. She was last seen alive in Rebels. However, most of Rebels takes place before A New Hope, and we don’t know if she would have survived between A New Hope and Return of the Jedi 100%. I’d say the possibility is very strong since she was in a lot of the same episodes of Clone Wars that Filoni was in. Plus, Katee Sackhoff would probably be game for it, and I think she’s getting close to the right age that Bo Katan would be in this if we assume Bo Katan was in her 20’s in Clone Wars and her 40’s in Rebels.
My new favorite, "Boba Bane". "This is the way...the fire rises!".
Bo-Katan was such a hot milf in Rebels...
Though... I'm not sure if every piece of the SW media needs to be referenced in others.
Yeah it's been posted in the Star Wars figure thread. Already ordered mine.
From what I understand, he's not that easy to find in stores. Target's site for the Carbonized version says "Temporarily out of stock" Star Wars The Black Series Carbonized Collection The Mandalorian Toy Figure (Target Exclusive) which makes it seem like there's hope that they'll have it back in stock. The regular version seems to be available for "retail" price at EE and Dorkside for preorder (March 2020):
Star Wars The Black Series The Mandalorian 6-Inch Action Figure - Entertainment Earth
Star Wars The Black Series The Mandalorian 6'' Action Figure
*edit* BBTS has it up for a March preorder too
Star Wars: The Black Series 6" The Mandalorian (The Mandalorian)
Unless you want to venture out into the stores n stuff to try your luck there.
Thanks. Yeah, I actually have one pre-ordered through BBTS. If I find him out in the wild before that, then I'll just cancel that order.
I knew I'd get one eventually -- he's the main guy, they are going to make so many figs of this dude, and I knew other companies besides Hasbro would be getting into the game too, like the S.H.F version that was revealed recently. So I didn't feel an urgent need to move heaven and earth to try to get one. Of course, that was before I had even seen the show, heh...
I'm a little bummed that the S.H.F version has the same armor pieces as the BS one -- someone needs to make the bling-bling beskar Mando.
I’m hoping/betting that full Beskar Mando will come with the kid. The recent 3PO come with a tiny Babu Frink, so theres no excuse.
Plus... if you think this one is hard to find, just imagine how much that one with baby Yoda would be.
For no particular reason... just because.
There's no reason why Bandai or Hasbro wouldn't make an updated Mando figure with the full Beskar armor That's like them not wanting money if they decide not to make one.
They have said they've been holding back info on products to not spoil the show. That's why there aren't any stuffed Baby Yodas out there.
Notice the Heavy Mandalorian wasn't even revealed until after his episode came out.
Actually, in the Star Wars figure thread, there was a post about it before the episode aired.
Here's the post from 11/9:
Star Wars Figures/Toys
why are they called Mando’s? Where is that “o” at the end coming from if it’s short for Mandalorian? Shouldn’t they be Manda’s?
Separate names with a comma.
