Half right? Kinda? That's Freyja and Hayate... basically the leads of Detla... one's an idol, the other a pilot... and a guy
If anyone is looking for DX VF-1's Jungle has 4 out of the 5 right now. Product list | JUNGLE Special Collectors Shop Edit: Make that 3. The Hayao Kakizaki one disappeared quick.
Hell of a thing to see, almost unheard of for any of his VF-1As 10 years ago. Bandai got Kakizaki to sell, that’s a 1st for any Macross licensee.
You got it wrong, it took people this long to realize that green is an awesome color and better than yellow, red and blue.
Nah I knew and his DYRL VF-1A looks sharp, but historically none of his VF-1 toys have ever been top sellers. Still regret passing over his 1/60 TV VF-1A from Yamato for $30. Not once did I ever think I’d have FOMO over a Kakizaki Valkyrie.
lol... Honestly I never really cared much for his character. I really just want the head sculpt for Max's VF-1A. The DYRL 1A Head is preem.
yeah the DX DYRL VF-1A head sculpt look damn nice that im surprised bandai barely showed it off in the promotional material as as opposed to the VF-1S where the changes are more subtle
I wish Bandai had based the DX VF-1A head sculpt on their HI METAL R VF-1A’s. The visor frame is retractable to replicate either the TV or DYRL? look.
Yes, I was referring to Macross, since this the Macross thread. Also I don't collect any non-Macross HMR so I haven't been paying attention to whatever releases you are referring to.
Yeah, HMR as a line is doing pretty well for Bandai I guess - there seem to be enough people interested in collecting figures of robots from other less-known-to-western-fans late 70s / early 80s mecha anime. The Xabungle and Dougram figures are apparently quite good, and as a lot of users here have mentioned, the real highlight of the line are the non-transforming figures. if they ever got around to releasing the last two destroids I’d have a real hard time not jumping in and buying some. I had the Spartan and Defender and really liked them a lot - definitely more than the VF-1. The idea of putting together a display of Battletech mecha using figures from all the shows they lost the rights for (the “Unseen” in Battletech talk), all from the same toyline, is hilarious to me. I’m waiting for Crusher Joe HMR just to see if someone at Bandai is doing it on purpose, maybe there’s some old FASA employees there or something.
Random Question: On any of the Dx VF-1's,what else is diecast on it besides the foot? Haven't messed with my 1s in a bit and the minute I touched the foot it was Cold ASF lol.
Spine, engine fans, landing gear, part of the upper leg/drawer joints, parts of the knees and parts within the lower legs.
He wants you to rub them...lol... As far as I can tell, there’s diecast in the feet, ankle joints, hip joints, hip bar, swing bar, shoulder joints and one of the neck/collar joints...maybe more...
Sorry for not posting any links as I can't find one but there's a trailer for the new Delta movie. Saw some screenshots at MWF instead. VF-31's have some redesigned heads and a possible new squad member assigned as Delta 06.
I saw that post on MW and I'll make it short and to the point. Looks like all the 31 valks sans Messier's/Hayate's 31f has gone the route of the 31a and the Delta 06 is Chucky's new ride.
From SilentCiel, Delta 06 has the Aerial Knights symbol. Bet this is the 1st DX we’ll see from the movie. Excuse for another DX VF-31A New drone for TamashiiWeb?
