This picture should illustrate where the pieces are supposed to line-up and connect into as well as what is actually holding all of this together.

my two most cherished Anime items of all time; the Anime girl i only dreamed of having 15+years ago,
and the VF-1 i've dreamed of since first falling hard into MACROSS back around 1995/1996, no more than 13/14 years old.

    today i'm 38, -going on 39 in Jan.- and the circle is now complete, the wild dream finally reality;

The more time passes, the less I'm looking forward to new Macross releases. VF1D was never my thing so that's a sigh of relief, and even though I've tentatively secured a Roy 1S and Super packs PO I'm not as keen on them as I would expect. Maybe it's DX VF1 fatigue?

I've put away my VF31S and Kairos for a few months now and don't feel like I'm missing much. Is there still a market for them?

They still sell well above their MSRP. I would like to have a Kairos but not at the current asking price.

I fatigue on everything. Generally if I "shelf" it for long enough I come back around to being excited about it. I'm having toy fatigue right now too. I'm just kinda "meh" about the whole thing......................................so I got a few guns to play with.:D

You keep posting that same Meltrandi figure, @Tasuke, and I keep wondering why she's wearing a badly-tailored Japanese schoolgirl uniform, instead of a proper Meltran flight suit... :p
And speaking of which, why isn't Hikaru wearing his FAST packs? o_O

Hmmmm, I wonder how a DX will hold up to 285 grain of .338 Lapua Magnum at 3000fps.:p

The scope and bipod are some junk I had laying around. Waiting on the pretty stuff to come in.

Nice! I ordered a gun over 7 months ago and I have zero updates on my order. Service there is giving NY a good name!:p
But seriously, I know it’s not completely their fault considering how shitty the gun laws here are.

Man, how I regret doing that with some of my toys when I was younger. Some very nice pieces from my collection met their demise from guns and fireworks.

What did you order? You're in CA right?

I got that cannon in three days here in Michigan.:D

Um, yeah. I may have blown up a lot of GI Joe stuff when I went through my 13yr old "M80" phase.  Not that I would have saved anything anyway. I was living on my own at 17. Basically started with the clothes on my back. Ended up living on the street for a little bit and eating at soup kitchens. Kinda hard to lug toys around like that.:(

I can donate an Evolution Toy VF-2SS towards that. But I think it'll disintegrate... :p

That's why those toys are so valuable these days. Kids in the 80s didn't care about saving anything, let alone boxes.

Hehe. I blew up my fair share of OG G1 TFs and Joe’s with some homemade bombs made from gun powder from firecrackers. That was over 30yrs ago. Would be in deep shit today if I did that.

That'd be some expensive targets for target practice LOL Of course....I wouldn't mind having something else to shoot at at the range...

I ordered a handgun and an AR-15. Got Nada so far. Yeah, CA sucks for this kinda thing these days.

M80s were great! Back in the day, it was easy to get bags of them from Mexico for a few bucks. As for your youth, you should have built a cardboard house out of valkyrie boxes like I’m going to have to do soon!

Hey, those boxes are valuable real estate material! As for the toys, I definitely did care and regretted doing some of the things I did immediately, during or after. Having psychotic friends was part of it but some of it was fun. Launching my model space shuttle in the air with bottle rockets and blowing it to pieces was kinda a sick and twisted highlight after seeing the Challenger footage.

They’ve gone for cheap before...Evolution Toys has made something you can at least count on.... Macross toys you’ll never have a hard time finding/buying! I think they’ve actually beat the Yamato Kakizakis for shelfwarming the longest!

True. I wonder how they'll hold up to some .308 WIN :D
