Hmm... Time to ask either RedComet/Anasta on MW to custom make one for you? I doubt that Bandai will ever make one.
I’m not paying for any customs either. I can’t handle someone tampering with my toys, even if it is to make them “better”. Only person I’d consider doing that is LEK. But I have a feeling I won’t need to. That guy is so talented, it’s only a matter of time before someone pays him to develop an in house process so we can have his designs straight from the factory.
Not to mention that LEK is backlogged with a two and half year wait according to what @The Sqidd has mentioned on MW.
Yeah, that’s one thing. He’s so busy I’m not sure if he can ever get to anything else. Congrats to him though. He deserves the success and he has a passion and talent for it.
Fellas and ladies, I’m putting stuff on eBay for the usual stupid high eBay prices in the next day or so. After a week ish I’ll probably switch them to auctions and take my chances same as I did the last batch. If anyone wants in on these before I do so, this is it. Prices include US shipping. Arcadia Max & Milia VF-1J pair, standard finish $450 Yamato SDF-1 in pristine condition $450 Bandai DX VF-31E (Chuck) $200 Yamato VF-17S with some wear / cracks $150 (pics in my sale thread) Yamato VF-22S Milia (figure practically new, box very worn) $350 I’m downsizing by a whole bookshelf - like physically getting rid of the actual shelf - so I may have a few more as I go, but these are already boxed up and ready to ship. sorry to post a sale thing here, but since several of you mentioned before that I should have with the last batch, I thought it wouldn’t offend.
Those are solid prices. Would have bought the 1J pair off you if I hadn't already picked them up recently.
Well, I FINALLY received my DX Missiles from NY today. What a saga. Ordered November 2019. Started inquiring in June about how I can get them shipped, after about a month of back-and-forth (re: me messaging over and over, they replying like once or twice), somehow managed to get it switched to Ferry to ship. Got the "concerning your order" shipping notice July 7. Didn't actually ship until July 14. Arrived in the US (East Coast, I'm on the West...) 2 months later on September 16. Only 3 days later it was already at the Los Angeles Distribution center (!), at which point the homing part of the missiles seemed to peter out as they then went north up to Seattle (?), and then Kent, and then finally to Anaheim, went back and forth in Orange County for a couple of days, and finally delivered at the very end of the day (almost 7pm, way late for my usual mail delivery time) almost 10 days after originally making it to Los Angeles. I've never been so relieved to finally receive a package from overseas and check it off my mental "still waiting for THAT" list. The ironic thing? I never really intended to get the missiles, I just decided I wanted to get them to go with the SSPs that I had ordered 5 months earlier and was expecting to get in December 2019. And yet where are my SSPs? Who knows. They never officially gave me the "oops sorry we can't fulfill this" message and have ignored my last 3 or 4 messages asking about it. Those are the ones I REALLY wanted...
I am glad to hear that you got yours safe and sound. Although I'm exhausted just reading the trip they took. Yikes! Sucks about your SSPs though.
not mine, but saw it posted at hobbylog earlier. 1/4k DYRL SDF-1 stuff... https://twitter.com/doro_hige/status/1310176282903080960 snaps from the video:
