I haven't been keeping toooo close a tabs on the DX stuff, but now that I have a pre-order on Roy...kind of wish I had paid enough attention for those TV Super Parts. They look so good and TV versions don't get enough love *cough* SDF-1 *cough*. Edit: Nippon Yasan still has em for 11k yen. How inflated is that compared to what they actually costs?

Plus Japanpost doesn't offer SAL shipping anymore since March. I still have EMS to Canada if I do decide to get stuff from Jungle, but there is nothing for me there.
Tempting, very tempting. If they had a way to estimate shipping before purchase I might have actually done it. Until then, the wallet lives to fight another day! Ugh. I may have to resort to eBay for this one, or wait until my next trip to Japan which under current conditions looks like never.

I think a fair amount of us members here wants a DX 1s DYRL Max @Dark Skull. It depends if and when Bandai will ever make it or fork out $600 USD for a Custom DX 1s Max DYRL in which Red Comet (on MW) is taking offers, and to which preferences you want (plain Jane or Weathered). Hope it works out for you as you've been hunting at least one copy since the pre-orders where up for Roy's 1s (TV version).
I can see them making a Max VF-1S but, and here's the kicker, it'll probably be a "Tamashii Nations 20XX" exclusive. Making a hard to get toy possibly even harder to get.
I’ll stab Bandai in the throat if I can’t get one. But the 31J Kai was like that and ended up fairly easy to get at a slight markup.
Ah ok I see so it may not be so bad then, but at the same time does the 31J have the same popularity as the 1S? Or the character's flying them for that matter?
This is only my opinion on it, but it's MAX...coupled with the fact that it's a DX Chogokin Valk, and it's his VF-1S from DYRL. I'm thinking it might be more popular. Kinda like how this Roy was since there wasn't a large scale TV Roy valk until this one.
Haha, problem is if it is an event exclusive like @Gabriel Contreras is portraying, we don’t even get a chance to preorder. Just have to wait for aftermarket. Yeah, it’s a possible tossup since it is the main character in the newest show vs a supporting character in the oldest movie. My guess (biased opinion) is Max’s 1S is still more popular but hard to say considering the way his Valks usually sit around retail for a while and both versions of the 31J sold out pretty much instantly.
No. Hayate is popular with some of the fans that like Delta but the 1S pilots(Roy/Max/Hikaru) are far more popular. Going by the DX VF-1 roster currently, I don’t think Max’s 1S would be an event exclusive. TamashiiWeb exclusive at the very least, general release at most. Kakizaki’s DYRL 1A makes sense as an exclusive since he was only onscreen for a few seconds and blown up in the process. Max’s 1S sticks out much more for the subsequent dogfight after Milia killed Kakizaki and it was arguably a more epic dogfight than their TV series dogfight...and his TV VF-1A got a general release. Now the VF-1D Virgin Road with Max/Milia in wedding attire, that I can see as a Tamashii event exclusive.
