Not including shipping, 28,250¥ at NY, a bit more from other places.

OH I thought he posted a link with an item for sale. I'm guessing that was just a shot of the upcoming PF version

What are the big differences? Scorched earth just showed a few more tampos. Is that it?

I can get the regular version for 18,000 yen. Not sure it's worth 10,000 more yen?

    Not a 1:1 comparison :

The promo pics have all the decals applied. The regular version comes with only basic main tampos like the kites and you would have to apply the rest with the included sticker sheet. The PF version comes with the whole valk covered with all the decals the regular version comes with but tampoed on so it will look better than you could ever do yourself with stickers. Also, to apply the stickers well, it would take quite a bit of time, only to end up with something that doesn't look as good as the PF. So, given all that, the 10000 yen difference is worth it IF you care about having the completed look and count the time it would take to do yourself as a loss instead of enjoyment time. I personally don't care enough because I think the valks look fine without all the decals. For the upcoming SDF-1, I absolutely think it's worth it and have my PF version preordered. I also have the PF VF-0S preordered mainly because I want another one and the PF is cheaper than the regular is selling on the aftermarket. If the 0S was reissued in regular form, I would go that route.

Good to know, thanks for the clarification. I think the regular version has plenty of detail for me.

Just paid $400 for a VF-31A off of Amazon. Really wish I hadn't missed out on the pre orders for this one. The price jumped a $100 while I was waiting a week for another paycheck before I bought it. I really wish I had just pulled the trigger last week. I could have made the finances work.

Speaking of the 31A, has it actually shipped out yet? I preordered in the first minute or so it was available from Nippon Yasan and so far it's still sitting in "Pre-order - Payment OK" status despite the estimated release date of 3-24. I'm not usually so uptight about release dates, but I'm still a bit salty about having to wait like a month and a half after release to get my preordered HM-R VF-2SS (albeit from a different web shop).

Some members on MW have gotten their VF-31a while others are either waiting. Two of the members have their orders cancelled and have gotten refunds (Bandai has cut back on the amount of Kairos to be produced so they say according to the post). According from what I read, NY takes their sweet time on shipping the orders (making the outer box clamshell packaging fit according to the dimensions of the actual product like a puzzle) and ships it according to the orders they receive.

Other theories are that the orders of the VF-31a has exceeded their original allotment and waiting for the next shipment to be filled out before sending it off. There's actually a couple of posts that states some members have to pay extra for the 31a to be shipped out.

I actually had to wait two weeks for my HMR DYRL Roy to be shipped out from NY as they miscalculated the demand and had to wait for the next shipment to arrive and then ship out to my house. I also got dinged for an additional payment before NY can send it out as they had to source out another supplier to fill the unexpected demand and asked the others who where waiting also to pay extra in the difference. The first wave of the HMR DYRL Roy that was shipped out didn't pay additional fees, while the second wave had to pay up.

After that experience, I never went back to NY for my Macross related items. Other members here have items purchased from NY with no issues.. So in saying YMMV with the supplier that you have chosen do deal with.

Edit: If anyone does get a pre-order for the HMR VT-1 from the dealer of your choice, hopefully that you don't get burnt badly afterwards.

My 31A has shipped from NY. It was not on the 24th [release date] but mid-week, but I was not asked for extra money for it.

Oh heck, that's pricey. Definitely pushed me out of even considering this now. Cost is similar to recent Arcadia re-releases with the super packs when they were available.

I ended up pre-ordering just the valkryie before the fast pack was officially posted up and I was offered the fast pack upgrade to bring the total to $139.80, so about $13 off the current pre-order price of $152.90. Seems to me like they realize fans will pay around $200 for the Arcadia and are pricing based on that.

All of my VF-1s. Most likely done with them. Happy with the group.
Not sure what to do with my SV262 Draken yet.

@Potchez: Did you ever get the VF-1J with the GBP or did you not decide to get it (as you have the VF-1S Strike Hikaru)?

That's probably the only other one I would get..
What are the odds of Arcadia tackling it? (All four of mine are Arcadia versions)
They have done the VF-1J now, it wouldn't be that far for them to go.

I'm currently trying to figure out the worth of a figure I got in the early 90s from the then boyfriend of my older sister. I hope I'm in the right thread. I have a Gakken Alpha Fighter in blue and I found pictures where it said Robotech on the box, so I figured, that might have something to do with Macross. It's a large robot that turns into a jet and has die cast parts. It has no pilot and no gun. There's only one part broken, but I still have it. Anyone know what that's worth? I found sold ones on eBay ranging between 44 and 90. There was also one cheaper, but I think that was a different version, it looked smaller. Mine is about the size of G1 PMOP (estimated guess).
