Yeah I probably don't need to put on the SAP yet. I'll open Nexx *edit* I thought mine was missing the gun. But the gun is in the tray with the SAP pieces. That was kinda stupid. *edit* Oh that's dandy. The right arm is broken at the bicep hinge. *edit again* That broken arm aside (time to contact Anime Export to see if I get stiffed), everything else is ok too. But man.....this is shit. I will not be buying anymore valks or transforming robots from Evolution Toys.
I want a 3rd party legioss designed by maketoys or DX9........maybe anyone who is not Evolution Toys.
My Nexx just came in, is it me or there's no instruction on how to go from fighter to Gerwalk/Valkyrie mode (had to go find one on google)? Also those loose screw covers. It's not too bad once I finish transforming it, but I think the joints holding the legs pieces to the body is way too loose. Edit* Just try to put the armors on, the right arm broke when I tried to snap the piece in and the leg armor tabs on the right leg (the Nexx custom part where the gun goes) is the same as the other leg armor so I can't put mine on. I think I'll stick with Arcadia and Bandai for my valks from now on. Nothing I can do about it either since I got mine at AmiAmi.
Try contacting Amiami anyways. They might be able to get you a replacement part and or a full refund (in amiami points) or give you some money back. I was amazed a few months ago when amiami actually came through for me with a new backpack part for a metal build gundam I bought.
That sucks. I guess I really shouldn't bother with the SAP pieces then. I wonder if anyone else has their right arm on Nexx break too? Mine was real loose from the get go. While transforming it, it just fell off. Such a disappointment.
Bandai basically lit the market for older valks on fire Ironically its Arcadia that's doing VF-0 and M7 valks
Being out of the Macross world for a while, what's the go to for a VF-1S round about now ? The Yamato's are fetching mental money. I saw the arcadia one, but again it's insane money. Anything else around ? The other thing I saw and was looking at was the Bandai 1/72 model kits but hear they are rather fragile
You can get an 1/60 Arcadia VF-1S with super parts for under $200. If you consider that insane money, not sure how you will feel about paying $70-$100 for the Bandai Hi-Metal R 1/100 version. Either way, those are the two current action figure options and both excellent. Otherwise, just buy one of the old original 1/55 mold rereleases that will probably also cost close to the same. But again, if you think current Arcadia prices are insane, just get a model set and deal with it.
Can anyone tell me why the hell are the hi metal r valks going for the same price as a 1/60 perfect transformation one on eBay?
If you find a 1/60 perfect transformation one in MISB condition for only 100-120 USD, you either found a deal or the seller is selling KO.
Hi metal valks are going for $200-$250 on eBay and so are the Arcadia 1/60 valks. Who said anything about $100-$120 and I'm talking aftermarket prices, not retail.
