Yes it is just balancing on the trident stand, no attachments points. I guess I can always glue the adapter to one of the arms though :)

    Nope. You're dead wrong.

You're bragging about owning a 4G when others cannot even find one for less than $800.

You should look at what you're doing wrong yourself before you accuse me of anything.

Our posts joking about the live action Robotech movie got deleted?
Why not just move them to the Row Boat thread?
I'd also argue that they were actually on-topic for this thread since part of Macross culture is lampooning Robotech. :)

Technically, yes as they are so intertwined but some feel like there's another thread for that specific title which technically is more correct. :lol

Do you mean the incident back in 2012 with the Bandai 1/60 scale VF-171, where the pre-orders fluctuation between available and sold out freaked everyone the F out?

    Does I win? :D

Oh sorry. I didn't know there was another place it should go when I posted the link. They're so intertwined and we're always talking about the various VF-1 toys and designs here.

This is the only thread here I care about so I won't know what was discussed. In case the other thread has exploded, I don't care to try to find what was said. I would only be interested in what was said by the regulars here anyway. :)  Sorry if it was inappropriate for this thread.

Yup. And how ironic that the 171 CF was the biggest piece of crap. :lol
No worries. The other thread doesn't get much traffic anyways. :lol

    Yay I won!!!

Yeah I think my hatred of directly dealing with bandai for preorders came to a head with the epic clusterf*** that was the Ni No Kuni Wizard edition release, ugh after that Ive avoided any direct preorders from bandai, and have no problem going through secondary markets and middlemen to continue to do so, or just wait in the hopes that Yamato/Arcadia will tackle the design in the future

I remember when people used to reinforce the hip joint area. But then the version 2 with Fast Pack came out that fixed the problem. When I bought the version 1, I immediately took apart the legs at the hip joint to prevent damage and then put the torso and legs back in the box. Then when the VF-11B with Fast Pack came out I bought 3 of them. 2 to open and 1 to keep MISB.

I got my VF-0D (along with MP StarSaber) from HLJ last week. Now that I've had time to transform/"play" with it, I can honestly say that this is the best Macross toy I own. I reviewed the re-issued 0A/0S from Yamato a few years back here, and at the time I thought they were pretty solid. Now, they don't even come close to how perfect this guy is.

    A couple of things I don't like:
-The hand design. I wish they would have worked a better-looking hand by now, or at least given us interchangeable non-articulated hands.
-Looks like they did away with the seat-rotation gimmick the originals had. That was my favorite part of the old transformation for some reason.

As far as QC goes, mine's pretty good. The only thing is missing some blue plaint on the back of the legs near a tab. Also, the gunpod doesn't sit straight in fighter mode, but that might be my own incompetence.

This is my first Arcadia valk, and now I regret passing on the YF-19. Was that release as solid as this one is?
