I just can't see Hasbro doing figures of the supplemental media characters and not touching the Twins.

For christ's sake Jar Jar Binks just got a new figure, FROM HASBRO, and his criticisms were identical to the Twins.

I mean if you need to jump through hoops to make them lesser known have them be an exclusive or make them the first Studio Series Selects.

Enough time has passed and enough people have moved on, the one's that weren't gonna by the figures never did when they initially released but the people who want them now are the one's that bought the figures then and want updated versions like the rest of the Bayverse cast are getting.

Like that's the whole point of the Studio Series line, Nostalgia.

I got a real dumb theory that the reason they haven't been done isn't because of what the characters are, but rather
How do you create the twins at such a scale and have them still be good
The ice cream mold from rotf is lucky enough to fit the scale, but they each only make up half a car
How do you make 2 separate vehicles from such tiny characters without them being bad toys

That's just my thoughts on the matter tho

I'm also just noticing this, why does jolt have the wrong backdrop, was it that hard to give him bee's?

Oh man, I wish I had gotten a mudflap when I was younger, I still have skids
He's a dumb lil fella but he's got charm
Mudflap looks even dumber and I love him for it

Change the price point that they'd be sold under and use the extra kish for better engineering for a small figure. I mean we've gotten small figures in the SS line and they've expanded that to WFC as well. The higher price point for an arguably smaller figure gets poured directly into engineering, paint and accessories.

Just do a 2-pack at the Voyager price point and have them be slightly larger than Core Class and that extra can be used on engineering and paint. It's not unreasonable or unable to be done, and if they did it right they could get 3 different releases out of 1 trip to the design board. (Ice Cream Truck, Chevys, and DotM Repaints.)

It's not impossible, if anything now is the time to do it with the engineering and quality renaissance that TF figures are experiencing right now.

I've said it before, but in general I am way more likely to not believe SS "leaks" than other ones because all you have to do is go "uhh... they're making characters from the movies" which is a finite pool that shrinks with every new wave so your chances of being right are always going up even if you know nothing at all, and either way people eat it up and give you attention.

@wreckgar39 apparently from what I read there won’t be any SS figures for Rise of the Beasts until 2023. Any reason for the delay?

So, going by that "leaked" list, there's a certain missing Spinosaurus...

Do you want a repeat of Copter Dropkick and Car Shatter?

I would like to know the reason too, but this actually sounds like a good thing because it means those figures have a better chance of being based off final designs and not concepts. That way we don't run into another Car Shatter / Helicopter Dropkick situation where they were hugely outclassed by their second versions.

I’m actually ok with this delay now it means that the RoTB figures will be accurate to their on screen models.

First the Twins, then the Spine. This list is like my friend after his divorce and for that reason I rate it 2/10 Dickbots.

Apparently ROTB will have it's own toyline next year, that's why they're holding onto making SS figures from the movie, to have the final CGI models to go off, unlike what happened with the early Bumblebee figures in Studio Series

I’d rather not be forced to either buy over simplified, gimmick hindered figures or wait till 2023 to watch the movie.

I don't get it. Wasn't Devcon ruled as being too expensive to produce?
