"Due to overwhelming demand, the LEGO Shop Martian Manhunter promotion has been ended early for both the US and Canada."
So I take it that the minifigure itself is going to become really valuable now isn't it? Or they'll find some other way to distribute the minifigure.
The Clone lt. from last October lasted till the last day I think? And then I ended up seeing it again on other sites like FAO, TRU, get it free with a $50 or $75 purchase, which is how I got my 2nd one. With this being gone in just 11 days, I'm not sure if it will show up again. The $14 BIN on ebay seems like a deal now.
They should really make more of the Green Lantern minifig from the movie. That way we could re-enact the scene of him paired with Superman in the Lord Business evil lair set.
I just found it on sale so I returned the first one ( hadn't opened it yet ). I now got it for $79 Aud ( ~$70 USD ) so I ended up with a good price In the mean time we bought 31012 Creator Family House and have been building it. I paid $75 Aud ( not bad ), I really like the yellow colour of light from the light brick. It casts a warm glow over the inside and makes a much greater sense of realism to the inner space.
I liked that house, but the tiny-ness of the bedroom and no bathroom was disappointing. I just got the cloud cuckoo land set, took about 1 and a half-2 hours to build, and it looks quite nice. I used some spare unikitty leg parts to join the launcher to the main cloud-thing. one the one hand, unikittys head keeps falling off. on the other hand, Snail.
I got the family house for my daughter for Xmas it was hard to find then (yeah i started looking late) i love the set but the small addition of the light brick makes it even more amazing.
Is toys r us the only place to get a gray baseplate? I'm starting to build a lego city and I could use some tips on what parts to get.
