That's awesome yo. I made a small Tatooine diorama, but it's nothing like yours. That's incredible with tons of detail.

I just made a change to my Eldorado Fortress and I very much like it.

Speaking of getting stuff on Aliexpress, I found a set of mini mechs, and then made an extra one.

Absolutely, iirc I meant that from Lego's point of view its a popular license they may have wanted. From the consumer point of view, it's win/win (unless a LEGO purist, obviously.)

From what Ive seen of the MC MOTU stuff, the quality is far from bad. Cool minifigs and a well designed Greyskull/Snake Mountain.

A Jules Verne GWP should be available from June 21-30 if the rumors are true. It'll be past the double VIP points event, but might be worth holding off for anyone interested.

I had good luck when I ordered two boxes of the previous CMF series and managed to get a full set. Here's to hoping my luck holds!

On a side note, wish Lego would reveal the Dungeons & Dragons CMF series already. I know the September release isn't too far off but I'm curious to see if the leaked renders match the actual minifigures.

Just made my first pick a brick order, but split it up into two orders to use up all my insider points. Got the Space baseball cap which I've had my eye on for a while with one order, and $50 off credit on the other. All in all, I spent just under $60. I got some random parts to build a few micro build ideas and I bought a bunch of Pirate crew guys and a full compliment of Vikings for my ship I just built

I ordered a few parts myself a few weeks ago, received the best sellers ones but not the regular ones yet, should come in next week i hope.

Next time i'll split the orders myself, easier than waiting for lego to do it

I have a few VIP points to burn and I've been eyeing the Lego Cooler Bag. I got the big Lego yellow tote bag (which was a GWP, I believe) and my wife and I use it every time we go grocery shopping so it's been very useful to hold a lot of stuff.

Finished putting together the Aston Martin F1 and Safety Car. I can't speak for the Vantage since I don't own the last version of the car, but the F1 car is like 90% identical build to the McLaren from March. I like the build, but the color on this is completely off. I think teal would've been a better match.

The shade makes it look more like Kick Sauber's car from this season.

It is nice to have two cars from the same season together though.

Finished building the Alien Planet Habitat set. Video coming later today, i think.

Cool little micro builds, found it better than the alien pack.

I wish Lego would go back to making specialized base plates like the crater plates of the 80's so we could build bigger landscapes than just with a 10 x 10 hexagonal plate.

The Vantage looks very similar to the other version. I thought about getting this set, but since the color is so off, probably will pass and get the McLaren instead

In real life the Halo’s middle column is only thick front to back, it’s actually rather narrow when you look at it head on. Basically it doesn’t block enough line of sight to be an issue.

In Lego or real life? Because in real life, the halo is a non-issue. The support strut is a lot thinner so the field of view isn't too obstructed.

The minifigures might have a tougher time. I mentioned before that the minifigures sit too high. The McLaren and Aston Martin isn't as bad, as you can still kinda see their eyes poking under the halo:

The Mercedes from 2022 has it so much worse. It's like a plate too high.

Lego definitely dropped the ball on this set. Unless Aston Martin insisted the cars have to be some shade of green, I don't see why they couldn't be teal or turquoise to better color match it. I'm also personally disappointed the minifigure doesn't look like Fernando Alonso, but that's nitpicking.
