Question about points, GWP, and cancellation/exchange/GWP.

    1. I know you can add your receipts from Target to your Lego account to get points, is it also for other stores?

    2. GWP is only from Lego store or online right? If you buy ie. Target then add to your Lego account, even if it adds to said amount, it wont count towards getting the GWP.

    3. I'm going to the mall tomorrow so I'll swing by Lego. My Wave is currently backordered online with a delivery by 3/27 date. If the store has it, can I somehow get it there and switch my backorder. Now sure how that'll affect my GWP either. Or will I just/should wait for my online order to avoid issues.

First time I really wanted a GWP:
    10497 Galaxy Explorer
    80033 Evil Macaques Robot
    40580 Blacktron Spaceship
+ pick a brick to reach the requirement

I love how they write 18+ on those spaceships. The way the boxes have similar deco and "SPACE SYSTEM" written on makes me hope there will be more coming. Have there been any rumors?

Some mechs I am working on:

    1. no
    2. yes GWP is only through Lego in store or online purchase. Uploading your Target purchase receipt to Lego does not count towards GWP
    3. if the store has what you want and you also get your GWP that has no bearing on your online order, though you can cancel it if you wish

My partial Jan haul. BD-1 and GWP Blacktron Cruiser. Posing with R2-D2.

Hoping my "The Great Wave" backorder gets delivered before it's tentative 3/27 date.

...next week starts the next GWP. Debating if Ill grab something for the Year of the Rabbit or wait til my Feb haul and get the Bionicle one. Trying to limit my Lego monthly spending since the past few months Ive gone a little overboard lol.

FYI technically the rabbit GWP starts tomorrow at around this time (Midnight EST/9pm PST) since it will be the 15th on Sunday.

So I’ve been thinking about getting the Lions castle. It’s a great looking build. That said, the minifigures are kind of terrible IMO.

It would have been nice if we got more armoured helmets for some of the characters.

The heads are all far too goofy? Lots of screams and scared faces. I don’t think any of them have an angry face which is odd considering these characters would be fighting at some point. Also disappointed we didn’t get a king in the set. I’m all for equality but I would have at the very least wanted swappable parts to make a king. It is what it is, at least I can swap out a bunch of the heads and add more swords and shields.

I’ve got two Bricklink orders at about $40 each Canadian and then have the classic king series 13 minifig on its own which was about $30. So for an extra $110 on top of the $565 Canadian I’ll have all the figures where I’d like them to be.

The Castle was probably my favorite set of 2022. But, I haven't built the Galaxy Explorer yet. Castle was just so fun to build and it looks awesome on display. I happen to like the Minifigure faces I think they are whimsical, and the Black Falcons are actually a peaceful visiting group rather than enemies. My daughter was really excited about the Queen Knight and a bunch of the Lion Knights are female too. I grabbed a bunch of extra knights from Series 23 to form a Queens guard team in training.

Anyone here have the viking ship from creator 3 in 1? Thinking of making that my purchase for the Bionicle GWP in a few weeks if it's still in stock. Looks kinda like a fun build.

Yeah. I don’t personally have it, but I like how all of the builds are inspired by Norse mythology to various degrees.

Ermahgerd - Series 24 Minifigures has a Space-baby (and a Spaceman in his "brown pants" for launch day).
Oh, and another dino-man. I haven't bought myself minifigures in a minute, but I'll be damned if I didn't take time to feel out those two today.
