So I joined an Amazon program at the end of October last year and managed to get these off brand sets for "free". These are most of them, I think I've ordered over 20 total so far. One is unbuilt, a few were built and then disassembled for the parts, lack of space, or lack of interest in the build. Anyways, on topic with actual Lego, the program actually offers Lego brands. Unfortunately, I don't have access to those yet due to only being silver tier. From what I saw of old posts, there were sets from Avengers (Quinjet), Friends (not the show), some racing ones, and the Avatar movie. Looking forward to gold tier to have access to those.
Same here but apparently Dragon's Keep is a one-and-done deal for LEGO Ideas. The announcer for the winner did seem to confirm in the comments that there are no plans for additional sets for a completely new theme for the D&D brand in LEGO, sadly.

There is a microfigure in his torso with a little opening door to see him. Unfortunately I couldn't find a good way to make a whole torso block that could separate, but at least you can see the little scaled guy in there
I like the D&D set. I don't play D&D, so this will fit in my collection as a Castle set and nothing else. Speaking of Castle, I finished building the 90th Anniversary Castle. Beautiful set with lots of neat techniques and features. Once it was done, I felt it could've used a dragon, but D&D seems like it'll have that covered. Overall though, If I was to recommend any 90th Anniversary sets, it'd be the Galaxy Explorer. Cheaper and looks just as good. Castle's still great and if anyone was planning on getting it, it's definitely worth it.
**sigh** I tried to hold my ground but man I really wanted that Blacktron set. $250 Canadian is a lot for it but at least I’m getting a Tallneck, Tie Bomber and 4 Clone trooper command stations as a GWP with it
whenever there is a GWP I want but don't want to spend the threshold to meet, I just get it by itself on ebay, Mercari, Bricklink, etc.
One big, happy family. But, OH NO! What's that on the horizon? Still can't quite decide what role the Brown Spaceman will fill in the hierarchy. For me, White are PILOTS, Yellow are SCIENTISTS, Red are SECURITY, Blue are EXPLORERS, Green are MECH PILOTS, and Pink are MEDICS. I'm leaning towards Brown being CRECHE WORKERS, since they came with the baby spaceman, seems like a logical fit. Still need to get that book with the Orange Spaceman at some point, plus pieces to make a full Grey and Purple guy.
Similar problem, but different. I could do the Star Trek approach like you and assign colours to function, but I did it different when I was a kid and am still stuck in that. As a kid I was crazy about the space age, in part thanks to a book about an emergency landing on the moon and the survivor travelling over the planet to be eventually helped by a Kosmonaut. Loved it, all the accurate space details in it and read it many times and still own it. Accurate to real life, on the cover of this book and on the art inside, the USA astronaut wore a white spacesuit and the USSR Kosmonaut a red one. And Lego Classic space had white and red spacemen. So to me the white ones were Americans and the red ones Soviets. The two space nations at the time working peacefully together through Lego Space. And now we have many more colours. Blue could be Europeans since our flag is blue. But what to do with all the other colours?
Do the bags have codes on them? I’m only looking for a Brown Spaceman. Found some bags today and noticed two different numbers printed on the back:
the release of the brown one made me look into getting the orange and potentially piecing the others out as you mentioned and that exercise made me question why I would go to the effort when it isn’t like I display all of my spacemen or have any affinity to them apart from the red, white, blue, black, and yellow.
The 4-digit code on the upper right of the bag doesn’t seem to mean anything specific for each figure. I have the same code for both bags I got (48R2). The best way to look for what you want is to feel through each bag for specific parts. https://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/104pion/cmf_series_24_feel_guide_guide_in_comments/ For the robot warrior, I felt the pointy helmet. The spaceman was a bit different. In my case, I didn’t feel the walkie-talkie or the air tanks - I stumbled across a small piece that ended up being the baby’s torso. I pushed it up against the bag and it made a perfect mold of the baby’s right hand. The rest is history.
Since you have one, can you confirm----does the new Blacktron ship have "old" red lightsaber bars (very clear/highly polished) or the newer kind, which are almost a "frosted" sort of look? It kinda looks like the "frosted" kind in that pic but it's hard to tell.
