I tend not to like micro builds as a personal preference (minifigure scale is my go-to) but that is a cool design.

So much for getting it period. There's simply no way I can hit 190, all I really want is the new TIE Bomber. It's sad, but paying like 2-3x what it's worth, by itself, would still be cheaper in the end...

Considering that all(?) the markings are stickers, not tampos---is it Bricklinkable? Is the canopy new or just rare?

I got my reward codes ready for midnight tomorrow. I had $40 worth, mainly because my son and I split the cost of the Loop coaster when double points were on.

Oof, that’s a high admission price. But on its own I guess it would be a $20-30 set.

I’ve been holding off getting Bowser and the Sanctum Sanctorum in case a high-threshold GWP came along, so I guess it’s time to bite the bullet on one of those…

I'm disappointed that Lego is trending towards more of these "rewards" style sets which are exclusively locked behind spending upwards of a hundred dollars at a time. Especially regarding classic themes such as Bionicle and unlicensed Space Exploration, which if properly reinvented would easily be slam dunks between old fans and newcomers.

I modified my Optimus prime a bit. I was annoyed by the bumper hindering the legs, so I detached it from the abs and turned it into a butt plate. This allows for waist rotation. I modified the windows to sit flush with in alt mode, and gave them some visors. I also expanded the shoulders outward a bit, and finally I just changed some small details to make the truck a little more accurate to the freightliner wft-8664t PXL_20221230_070734454.jpg PXL_20221230_070756037.jpg PXL_20221230_071134474.jpg PXL_20221230_071204443.jpg

On a little trip down island and stopped in at a toy warehouse/wholesaler. This one has two long aisles double-sided with not-Lego. I grabbed myself a whole box of insects (x8), and a 4-pack of Marvel guys.
Some of the flowers look pretty good; and I think the vases are a great idea.

Didnt realize the GWPs were date specific, thought it was the whole month, tiered by price spent. I just assumed it was OOS when I did all my Lego buys the last few months lol.

The Wave is $100. Hmmm....was originally gonna buy it this coming Wednesday. So now I need to decide when to buy it.

Oof — a real poor man’s option to Lego Optimus Prime:

I'm sure that you can get the individual pieces to build the frame @OmegaScourge at the Brick and Mortor stores, however you can get them somewhere online as well (like Brinklink).

For those curious (this is just one link, there's more):
