Check this out. At like 0:34 Seconds into the video there is a Lego Creator that is Optimus Prime. If this is old news please delete the thread. I don't know how to get pictures from Youtube. I tried to time-stamp it in the first link. It looks pretty cool :)

As always, taking leaks with a grain of salt, but I like what I see. It almost looks like it might be capable of transformation into truck mode with how the pieces are arranged. So what could the third mode be?

I'm not super surprised Hasbro's just decided to license out to Lego after trying to make their own competing building-block brand and it not doing spectacularly, but I'm surprised they've decided to license out so soon. Kre-O was, like, 3 or 4 years ago when it ended, wasn't it? I know there were Kre-O toys as late as during Age of Extinction's run in the Box Office. EDIT: Yeah, last Kre-O sets releases were in 2017, at least according to TFWiki.

EDIT: Aw man, just a guy using a placeholder image.

Dude calls it Lego Super Mech and says it looks like Optimus Prime, that makes me curious on if it's actually licensed or not

    So the video says:

    - It's a generic "Super Robot" set that's "visually reminiscent" of Optimus Prime.
    - It's other two builds are "mechanical kite" or a jet.
    - 159 pieces, $10.

I don't build system sets but that preview image definitely looks like more than 159 pieces to me. I think the image is a placeholder put there by the video creator since on skimming through the rest it looks like there's no actual images of the set and just rumored listings/product descriptions.

Everything he told us + the idea I posited about it being a placeholder image leads me to believe it won't actually look that close and that it's definitely not licensed.

    BEEG EDIT:

Yeah, that's not the set. It's a custom kit found by googling "Lego Optimus Prime" and clicking the first image result. Not really newsworthy, then.

None of the sets (or at least few of the sets) shown in that video are real. Most are custom builds that align with the leaked descriptions. He’s reacting to listings and descriptions while using photos he just grabbed from Google as placeholders, the same way TFW will post news stories of leaks and use a presexisting toy/art as an image. If you listen to what he says none of the pictures match his description.

That Optimus MOC is like the second result if you search “Lego Optimus Prime” on Google.

Built this set today, was a good build, though I was missing a piece for under the bed. Made it work though and overall a fun build

There's no way that Optimus Prime build is only 159 pieces, so that should've been a red flag right there.

Keep in mind Lego and Hasbro are separate entities and thus competing toy manufacturers.

Hasbro has apparently given up on manufacturing products to directly compete with Lego as they did with Kre-O. A different cheap brick maker is now selling licensed GI Joe sets. Hasbro licensing TF to Lego is plausible, however unllikely.

Neat. I picked up the Mandalorian Star Fighter and the $10 gift card since the Lego site is still temporarily sold out of that set. Thanks for the heads up!

But that set isn't part of the promotion. You sure you got the gift card added in (automatically) at check out?

I might've missed the fine print, haha. It's all good. Lego is still out of stock for it and I had some Target points applied to the final price.

Got in the Christmas sets today. Wasn't expecting them as I never got any emails from them about the order.

October gifts with purchase are numerous but pretty thoroughly uninteresting to me. Looks like I'll be saving some money this month, thank goodness!

Yeah I only want the Gryffindor Dorm room. I'm sure the Hermione set will be a plentiful polybag later.

Maybe they will stealth announce something during the month, it's happened before. Otherwise for sure November will have it, usually twice (VIP Black Friday "preview" and then BF weekend itself).

They will almost certainly have an October double points window like they have their March one.

I’m ordering the sleigh on oct 1st because I’m sure it will go fast and don’t want to miss it, but will save any big purchases for double points or a good GWP. Unfortunately, I don’t really have any lined up. Maybe the big HP set and assuming they look good, the UCS AT-AT and Home Alone House.

I hope Double points are not too far. I would like to make an order and get the Christmas shopping out of the way.
