Apparently there's a new blade movie coming out - maybe Lego will make some sets like they did with black widow? Maybe not for punisher unless there's a new movie in the works.

Is the text in the top right corner crooked on the box?

No, my picture is crooked. I cropped it because my house is a mess.

Does LEGO not allow you to order/ship sets internationally? It says my country is locked to the United States

I don't believe Lego US does. I think you have to change region. It's at the bottom of the page.

Just tried, thanks for the tip. Sadly, the Seinfeld set I wanted to send isn’t available in the region I chose to send it to :/
Guess I’ll just have to send it to my place and wait until the holidays to gift it haha

Got the new Ninjago Fire Dragon. Don't care about the theme at all, and I generally don't care for creature builds (small, self-contained limb structures don't lend themselves towards particularly interesting building techniques), but I got the set because it's by far the best dragon, from an anatomical standpoint, that Lego's ever produced. In that regard, it's beautiful. I especially adore the rendering of the torso, with the massive and broad pectoral muscles and lithe but defined abs. The detail layering and texturing is phenomenal. The main torso is actually a "studs-down" build, but they smoothed it out well so that it looks good from all angles. The tonal gradients between bright yellow and orange-yellow, and red to dark red, with black accents, are fantastic. An interesting detail that I really like is that implied "gill" structure on its laterals, like a secondary rapid-intake system for firebreathing (or perhaps the opposite, for rapid cooling after performing the act).

Unlike most Ninjago sets, this one isn't really focused on gimmickry. The Dragon has no action features or deployable weapons. It pretty much exists to push the limits of expressive creature design, as far as a mass-market-ready set is concerned. Like most Lego creatures, while it does have a lot of joints, the nature of the joints doesn't really allow for much "free posing", but rather enables a few intended ones. Most obviously, it works well soaring in flight. But the wyvern-style wings (which are made of a soft, easily foldable cloth instead of the usual stiff paper-y feeling fabric that they use for sails and such) are also designed to fold up in a natural way that enables very natural quadripedal "crawling" and "perching" stances. This is essentially the Smaug that should have existed for the Hobbit sets.

I have two somewhat minor complaints about the build, though. First is that I feel like it needs a few more tail segments, especially a couple of heavier, chunkier segments towards the pelvis. The weight distribution of the kit is undeniably forwards of the hips, and the lack of counterbalance makes just a few other poses somewhat unstable: specifically a bipedal rearing pose with wings fully outstretched for full intimidation factor. I mean, you can do that pose, but the kit doesn't seem to like it very much. The other thing is that it really shouldn't have been a stretch to include a couple of extra parts for a nice firebreathing effect. At the very least, with all the other fine rendering details present on the kit, give me a 1x2x2/3 curve slope piece to stick in its jaw for a tongue.

Price per part ratio for the set isn't great, retailing at $70CDN for a ~550 piece set, but there's that expected ~$10 markup when including parts like the pre-molded dragon head and the unique cloth wings. Very little in the way of useless side builds - just the minifigures, and a tiny display platform for the 10th Anniversary gold Nya figure, so practically all the parts go into the main dragon build itself.

My initial reaction to this is "What a waste of 5500 pieces." But I guess some people must like these if they're making another one so soon!

Not my first choice in giant stadium I would want to build. Not even in the top 10... But I'm not much into soccer either really. I get its one of the biggest but there are so many cooler designed stadiums that would be sick to build out of lego.

I can’t bring myself to buy this. It’s $100 here in Canada. It’s $30 More than the Slave I. LEGO is loco.

it isn’t for me, but there are US-based stadiums I’d at least consider.

Built the Infinity Gauntlet over the last few evenings - it’s smaller than I expected and the fingers are a little less articulated than I anticipated (they bend great, but I assumed they could splay slightly). I still like it, but it isn’t *quite* as good as I hoped.

lastly, no discussion of the new Harry Potter D2C? Hedwig, the books, the chocolate frog packaging/frog all look amazing. I’m not sure I $250 like it, but I do really like it.

I'm waiting on my IG to get here so I can put something on my desk in my new office lol so hopefully it's as nice even if you can't splay the fingers. What's the HP set you're talking about? I have a Fawkes coming and I'm gonna order Hedwig next wk.

Personally if they were to make another stadium, I would’ve chosen London’s O2 Arena
