    More Discovery shuttle fun.

I bought the Lunar Space Station set on a whim when I saw it on FB Marketplace, hoping the modules would fit inside Disco's payload bay. They do in a way, but the doors won't close. With a little modding, the whole set can be plopped into the bay and stay securely.

This requires my mod for the PLB doors, which also lets you fit the Hubble in the bay with the rolled-up solar arrays installed.

Speaking of Hubble, this same mod allows you to stand Hubble on its nose with the RMS holding it, using the Hubble's PLB stand. This I believe is the final position it was held in before being deployed to orbit

It's a good mod. Wish I had a nice black background though.

I love the possibilities this set gives you!

Questions for those that might know:

    1) if you pre-order and item on Lego’s website, do you get any GWP’s that are live at the time of purchase? (Ie, is it basically the same as ordering something while it is on backorder)

    2) have preorders sold out before release and not been available on their release day?

    1) When I pre-ordered the Imperial Probe Droid, I did get the Easter Bunny house when they shipped it out on release.

    2) Yes, I have seen a few times that pre-order items are sold out or backordered on release.

Just to reconfirm with @axiom said, last year I pre-ordered The Razor Crest during the May 4 promo and I still got the GWP and double VIP points awarded when it finally shipped in September. So yes that works.

I wonder if the Indiana Jones theme will return next year, I think it will and should. But I'm very curjous if lego can make sets based on the other 4 movies because, if I remember right, Paramount has rights for those movies and Disney has rights for the characters, names and the 5th movie and whatever they do next. I'm not sure if that includes merchandising rights.

Where exactly are the preorders going to be? Are they on Lego's site or BrickLink's? The calendar and Lego Store look nice and I've liked the fish tank and waterfall for a while.

I believe Paramount only controls the right to distribute. The right to merchandise should still be in Lucasfilm's hands.

Sweet. I still need to put together the Lego movie version of the Batmobile. The design looks just so bombastic and fun.

Bricklink. I'm tempted to pick up the plane one to swap the Sopwith Camel with Snoopy's doghouse.

Put together the 1960's Adam West Batmobile. Really fun set and looks good next to the GWP 1989 Batmobile and my MOC Tumbler.

    20210524_210917_copy_1008x756.jpg

Speaking of the Tumbler, I'm never completely satisfied with it so I made some extra mods like all-around bigger tires, changed up the front wheel arms, added more gold accents where I could, re-did the angled-in and sloped shaping of the side panels to be more accurate, and reworked the entire rear wing spoilers and engine in the back.

And randomly, my most recent Star Wars shelf. More to be added as I keep building.
