That's good to know, thanks for the information. I have to go back and look at that are in your photos, but I think I have an idea what you are talking about.

Same, but that blue engine area makes me like it a heck of a lot more than the TFA one and the previous one where they used that blue tube.

I actually didn't get a good shot of that hinge 20201104_120820.jpg
And upon inspection, the reason the hinge is so unstable Is the open-ended T-junction technic piece that basically just hangs there with the weight of the panel on it

Ah yeah, I see how it really isn't that stable. Hmm, now I need to go look at my older ones, but I don't think they used those pieces.

Edit: Thanks for the photo. I thought about it and don't think the older ones do the same since they used a different system for the tops and sides.

I was tempted by that Falcon. Looks the best out of all the ones Lego has made. Just wasn't a fan of the mining selection...

It might sound crazy to say, but I wouldn't mind if Lego did a sort of re-release with this build but had OT minifigs for it.

I really like that it uses 1x2 trans-light-blue tiles against white 2x4 plates to form the engines and curved bars to complete the illusion of depth and shape

Well, the genuine article is really fragile (especially those arms) so hey, maybe the counterfeiters figured out how to make droid arms that dont split like a tortilla chip.

Thanks for posting this here. I like this set but think I'll pass on it until I watch the movie and see what the deal is with the changes they made to the car. At least the build looks like a lot of fun and has some playing fun as well. I do like how they made the scanners on the top move when it rolls, that is really clever.

I guess I am the target market for that Ecto-1. Can't wait to get it.

EDIT: Also starting to ponder what the Black Friday deals might be this year. I'm kinda hoping that the Corner Garage or Book Shop (which is probably too recent) might be among them... I've been holding off of both of those for that reason. I might also finally jump on the Stranger Things set if that's one of them.

I might have to go all out and get the Ecto-1 and the Croc Loco together...

Time for another display case or shuffle things around.

Aw bummer. I would have loved the keychain.
Cool. I have yet to catch it on Lego's site. I love the "discount" that Amazon is claiming.

Yeah, the Teen Groot keychain was a nice unexpected surprise.

Also, Amazon claiming 49% off for the Clone Trooper battle pack is funny. Still, I nabbed three of them for troop building. :D
