I have several new sets on my want list but none of them are day 1 buys for me. I'm pretty tapped out from recent releases and/or holiday sales with a hefty backlog to stay busy for a while. Besides they always end up on sale at some point and I am patient to wait for lower prices. As soon as I see the Mandolorian battle pack on sale though I will grab that.

For anyone curious, it cost about $42 on Bricklink to assemble the mini 40433 Batmobile. That was leaving out the things I didn't want like the base, name placard, and stud shooters.

So while it's a lot less than the set is going for on eBay, it's still not a great deal. The best deal would have been to get it with the larger set right from the beginning. But since I wanted to wait on that bigger one for now, this'll do.

The Great Hall and The Mandalorian set for both GWPs. They were listed as Backorder will ship the 22nd, then they just filled my order yesterday. Wasn't expecting it, hope the bank won't be overdrawn before Payday tomorrow.

After spending so much this month, possibly nothing. Maybe the new Modular if funds aren't too tight. All of those new Disney Storybook sets interest me because I'm curious if the expressive heads can connect to the larger mini-dolls.

Probably none of the new 2020 sets, but I've been meaning to get the Batwing/Riddler Helicopter set.

I'm looking forward to Obi-Wan's hut. I'm not sure if thats coming out Jan. 1 or not though. Otherwise, Lego has taken a backseat for the foreseeable future.

Nice! I’ve done the Red, Yellow and Black Lions so far. Really digging this set. Glad I snagged it for Black Friday. Don’t know why I waited so long to pull the trigger but glad I did. It’s a great build and huge.

I’m only planning on the Mandalorian set, Obi’s hut and the Mustafar Duel.

Still surprised such a large set was free from Lego. Glad you managed to get one together.

    I just saw this article:

Legoland is removing its 'Star Wars Miniland'

The date stated in the article for its removal is Jan 6/20. So with Ep 9 literally around the corner, is this Lego's jab at the frachise?

I would've kind of expected its removal once the movie is no longer in theaters.

Or is it being done for other reasons like "attendance at this attraction is too low"? or "something bigger is coming"? or "Disney wanted this attraction to be removed"? or something to do with contract end dates?

I doubt this is Lego's jab at anything and probably some combination of your latter options. It could also just be that, if memory serves, it has been there a shitzillion years and maybe it's just time to change it up.

Lego’s Star Wars license is set to expire in 2022 if they don’t renew it. This might have something to do with that. Or it could be something different like @Juraash said.

Correct! In fact, LEGO Star Wars is one of the most successful themes of all time.

It's undoubtedly one of these two. SW has been on the downturn as of late, which impacts Lego to a degree, but Lego SW is still a healthy brand. Could be Lego just has better plans for the space given the dwindling interest in SW, or Disney pulled it because it's not "worth" it?

I'm hoping they renew their Star Wars license. Even if the ST sets don't sell all that well, sets based on the OT and even the PT movies would still garner a lot of interest, I think. I keep waiting for an updated OT TIE Interceptor and Bomber, for starters.

Pretty sure its just Disney wanting to own anything "Star Wars" at a theme park, especially with the launch of Galaxy's Edge.
