Actually, I think I do have that Big Brother Eye Takedown set (so I do have a Batwing, after all, but just haven't built it yet). Looking at the package, the Batwing in the BBET set (where Batwoman is pictured piloting it instead of Batman) seems rather simplified and stripped down compared to the beefier Batwing in the Riddle copter set.

I think I prefer the beefier look since it gives off that 1989 Burton/Keaton Batwing vibe to me. Plus the promo pictures have it where you can hang/dock the new Batwing in the new Batcave (vs. Clayface invasion set) on a raised pedestal, which is pretty cool to me.

That's a good size comparison. I'm also reminded to build that Joker Lowrider too.

I personally like the sleekness of the older model more. Somewhere between the Batwing and the sleeker Batjet of TNBA/Justice League. The new one is just a bit too chunky, and a bit bulbous around the middle, IMO. I do agree that it does evoke the silhouette of the Keaton Batwing a bit better, though.

Biggest issue to me is how bloated the new set is with useless, boring stuff.

Yeah, that Bell helicopter build for the Riddler has been done before (I believe it's pretty much the same recipe as the one in the classic 60's Adam West Bat Cave set).

I am interested in the GCPD car that's included in it. The colors and build of the model remind me of the old NYPD 80's era police cars back in the day.

The Batwing may be a little fat in the middle but it's Lego so I'd imagine it'd be easy to take out the stud shooters and relocate them elsewhere and slim down the middle.

As far as the constraints of Lego go, The Friends set looks pretty good.

The Friends set looks really nice and the price seems good for a licensed set.

I got my son the Hidden Side Laboratory set ($20) and he really likes it. The AR game seems pretty well finished. He's a Scooby Doo fan, so anything with ghosts and spooky stuff he's into.

I saw the Hidden Side sets at the Lego Store over the weekend. I like them, pretty cool but a lot of them look like slightly updated, variations of the Monster Hunters sets, which was a really fun line.

Managed to get the vampire hearse from a garage sale for my son and he was thrilled. Monster Fighters was slightly before his time.

Yeah saw them with my daughter yesterday at Target.... She seemed just ok with them but she's not really into "scary" stuff (even if it's silly scary). We probably won't get any unless/until they are on clearance. Too many sublines to collect these days and we have a huge backlog of sets to build already. She was really bummed when they discontinued Elves, but unbeknownst to her I stealthily picked up nearly every set for her so we have a lot more of those to get through.

I don't like the Hidden Side boxes very much, it's really hard to tell what the set is unless you look at the back and see the model pictures.

Yeah I agree about the boxes, I had to look at the back to figure out what they do, what's all included.

I have every Monster Fighters set except the castle. A lot of them I got on clearance too, like the Ghost Train. The Target exclusive Zombie set I tracked down and got the last in my area. Also got lucky with the Target ghost clock polybag which turned out to be pretty popular then scarce when they came out. The Haunted House is an all time favorite set and one that I will never part with.

That Friends set looks great. I do wish it had been the apartment, though I guess now that we are getting the figures I can just MOC one up myself.
