Are the Chinese sets going to be sold at shop.LEGO.com? Seems like the Chinese market sets will make it to Aus/NZ retail in addition to the Asian markets. Anyone in those locales willing to work something out?
Went by Walmart yesterday and they had all of these sets in the Clearance section for $3-5 off. Thought that was a little weird since they just came out..
Most of the LEGO Movie 2 sets don't interest me as much as the first one's sets did, but I'm definitely going to have to get that one. I am 100% into that set, I only wish it were set up as a modular like Ninjago City. In other news I got Trelawney today, and for the first time I am now over halfway to completion on a Minifigures series, and I intend to go all the way with this one! EDIT: Just noticed both the Old Fishing Store and Winter Village Station are sold out on the website, which I found a bit odd: they've both only been out for around a year, and usually D2C type sets last around two years. The Winter Village definitely has precedent for it: I don't think I've ever seen one retire after just a year. I don't know how Ideas does things though so this could be par for the course in that case. Anybody heard anything about why these two were retired so "soon"?
Nowhere to put them probably... And $3-5 off sounds like the normal Walmart markdown price, even on new sets they do 15-20% off.
I pulled the trigger on the Ninjago Master Falls set (apparently its now sold out and/or being retired?). Would be my first Ninjago purchase. The characters don't interest me so much as the swinging rope bridge build which looks great. I plan to use it as a backdrop for the Lara Croft custom minifig that I picked up from a recent Brickmania sale, and combine it with the crashed plane and temple build from one of the City Jungle sets. Also picked up a jaguar and panther minifigs and might stick in the giant spider alternate build from that red dragon 3-in-1 Creator's set. Ha, that looks crazy. Love it.

Those are from the D2C right? I thought they were the CMF series for a sec and was sorely disappointed (but relieved at not “having” to spend money)
