Classic Space sets...yummie. Lost so much of my classic Space sets that this is too good to pass.

The small house is nice, albeit it perhaps a bit too small.

And I like the look of the SW Dewback with sandtrooper (great that it's a built), as well as the Clone Wars Droid ship and AT-AP.

Dewback. Banthas are those giant long-necked yaks seen in the Tatooine marketplace.

Lego is way too scarce with the dewback mold. They should have relased another set with it in.

So what were the elephants in fur suits called? I thought those were Banthas.

Those are Banthas. I'm not sure what the yaks are that the other poster is referring to.

Oops. Thanks for the correction. Just couldn't think of the name of the beastie and Bantha was the only thing that popped up.

However, as @SPLIT LIP and @Sy-Rein pointed out, Bantha's are the furry beast (with an elephant inside) used by the Tusken Raiders. With long necked animals you mean the Ronto's or the Eopie's?

This is so cool. Love the imagination there. I'll show my daughter this I think she'll like it too.

You and your daughter might enjoy this book:

Great MOC. Building the reindeer around a jet engine was a brilliant idea! I also love how she thought to keep the presents secure but still visible with the bubble canopy. You should submit that to Lego Ideas.

It's small because it's part of the Microfighters subtheme.

You are correct about the Dewback being what the Troopers rode. Banthas are not long necked though, they are the woolly mammoth looking things the Sandpeople rode.

Lol, my bad. It's been a long-ass time since I've seen EP.IV. Probably got my wires crossed in there somewhere. I'm not really much of a Star Wars buff.

Found this Classic set pictured below in my local Asda for £30. Seemed like a decent deal, even if a large chunk of the 1500 pieces will be smaller ones.

Also there was the Lego Star Wars advent calendar for £18. That's normally £25 if memory serves, so might be worth jumping on if that's your bag.

    >Ninjago
    >last wave

Lego themselves named it an "evergreen" theme, so it's basically Ninjago until the end of time.
This is probably just something to celebrate some anniversary (technically it'd be in 2021) or just a filler wave, just like how anime shows always have those "flashback/catch up" episodes.

Praetorian BP is a must have.
Maul MF is a cheap black robe/grey slopes pack.
Some of those new SW 4+ sets are bound to have some interesting prints.
The rest is ok, but the real highlight is that new 1x2/inverted 2x2 bracket that's in the minecraft bigfigs (feet).

@Minecraft, hey, more minifigures that Aren't Steve! The pirate ship looks oddly neat, with all the water creatures; and Ender Dragon 2.0 might actually be a reasonable price. Coincifentally, sets with Not Steve!

The bigfig sets are...an odd choice, IMO - aren't those basically directly up against the (Jakks?) MC action figures?

It's gone now but I snagged a Detective's Office on Amazon a little bit ago for $119.99! Plus tax but that beats the Lego store BF deal.
