That is one cute Dewback.
Those leaks are awesome, but I’m bummed out about no new Powerpuff Girls or Unikitty sets. Nor were there any BrickHeadz sets listed, either.
That looks nice.
Maybe Lego will finally release official images.
What's interesting is that some themes may actually have a release date of December 1st, meaning we won't have to wait until 2019.
I'd expect official pics to start showing up in the next weeks, alongside the new TLM2 trailer.
Two more architecture sets I’ll get. I’m down for a few city sets as well (2-3). C’mon modular! We should be in the final days for that one based on past years.
Jesus fucking christ the whole Dam blew up!
Looks like the Golden Gate Bridge in the San Francisco set has some forced perspective going on - very interesting, although this does limit the display options to only the front view.
That Snow Groomer looks pretty good. Downtown Fire Brigade seems fantastic and a must buy from me. The Creator space shuttle with truck/trailer is a win in mini scale.
And brick built Dewback is totes adorbs. Death Star Escape with Luke and Leia swinging over the interior chasm looks fun even if it's just taken more or less from the Death Star set. AT-AP and Droid Gunship I'm kinda lukewarm on since I'm more of an OT guy.
Paris and San Francisco getting Skyline sets is cool but I'm still disappointed that Tokyo didn't get one yet. There are more than a few cool landmarks here Lego can do for it.
Randomly, I got the Diagon Alley mini scale set and X-Mas Gift Box from the Lego Store with my purchase of Voltron recently. They are stackable while supplies last.
As big as this flood is, why are there no Marvel sets? Are they trying to keep those sets secret, or have they not finished them yet?
I think this is the January catalog, and there are going to be Marvel sets released soon (December, in fact), which are the Spier-Man sets. If you mean Marvel MCU sets, I assume the Avengers sets will not be released until late March like with Infinity War, so there won't be images yet. I'm surprised there's no Captain Marvel leaks though (aside from the Talos minifig). That movie comes out in March so I'd expect sets to be released in January.
That Droid Gunship is delicious. Loved that ship, have the first release, and most probably will be getting this one.
And that Dewback is cute. But a brick built animal just reinforces my desire for a Geonisian Arena set.
Speaking of brick built animals, Creator Shark is a must-buy. It's so cute! Wonder what the alt builds will be though...?
Umm... I think we overlooked something here.
Even though it's too early to assume, I wonder if Lego still has plans for Episode 9 sets even though they practically hinted the whole year of 2019.
Lego has the Star Wars license, and Episode 9 is guaranteed to be one of the biggest moneymakers of the year...of course they have plans for Episode 9.
Episode 9 comes out around the end of next year. You won't hear about those sets until the fall. They'll be out probably whenever all the other ep 9 product gets released.
Ahhhh gotcha. I decided to get the Holiday Train today for the GWP and the double points. I was hoping for a second Diagon Alley (I bought the Great Hall day one of that promo), but either that one has run its course or they ran out of stock, since only the holiday gift was added to my cart. Ah well, I mostly wanted it for the cobblestone pieces.
Nobody is going to comment on this?!?!?!?
I don't even know what it is.
