New Details On Arnold Schwarzenegger's Return In THE LEGEND OF CONAN Arnold returns to the Barbarian. Epic.
If this does get made I'll go see it, but I was hoping it would be a sequel to Jason Momoa's Conan movie.
I think the way this movie should end is with Arndold's Conan dying in a glorious last stand againts overwhelming odds.
Don't think anything can beat his prayer to Crom in the first movie. "And if you aren't listening, to hell with you!"
If only they could base it on The Scarlet Citadel or The Hour of the Dragon - it might be a movie I could sink my teeth into. Still, it's got to be better than what they shackled Jason Momoa to - he could have been a great young Conan, but the movie just lacked in so many other ways.
I read about a new Conan following an older Conan, but this is the first I saw connecting Arnold to it. And, even if it's a story about an older Conan, I can't see Arnold as Conan anymore. I actually pictured Sean Bean as an old Conan. Arnold got really old.
I think this is going to be a great movie. Arnold being attached to it and Chris Morgan writing the script gives me hope.
I never thought of that, but yeah, Sean Bean would make a fantastic older Conan! I still haven't brought myself to see the Momoa Conan, just because I had heard so many negative things at the time about it.
Haha, I was gonna make that joke myself. Anyway, it's was promo pics of Eddard Stark sitting on the Iron Throne that made me think, old king Conan! Anyway, I still don't see Arnold working as Conan. Fans of movie Conan want a big ass barbarian. I still remember comments saying Mamoa's too small. (althogh, for some reason Conan did look a lot smaller then Drogo). I just don't see Old Arnold being able to fill Young Arnold's shoes.
