Where the Wild Things Are - 3/10. The character Judith summed up my thoughts on the movie perfectly, "I don't get it. Wait, yeah I do...it's stupid."

We're you thinking of the 2005 King Kong by Peter Jackson?

Was I the only one bored as hell by everything before Kong showed up?

I love PJ's King Kong, I have yet to see why people hated it. Aside from Jack Black being in it

Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz - 9/10

Epic. I felt very underwhelmed by the series, but this was far more what I had been hoping for. A great story with good pacing and it finally gave Heero some depth that he so drastically needed in the series. All of the new mobile suit designs (bar Sandrock and Heavyarms, which were horrid) were superb, especially the Wing Zero custom and the Tallgeese.

Ooooooo, you and I are gonna have to agree to disagree on that one. PJ's Kong was a damn fine remake.

Where's the ignore function on this thing?

Signs - 9.5/10. Every time I watch an M. Night Shymalan movie I feel like I'm watching an episode of the Twilight Zone. This one is one of my favorites though, because I saw it in the theater. And it freaked. Me. Out. Alot of bold choices in this one, and just hearing the things and not really seeing them until a few big reveals is just brilliant imo. Still gave me chills. And Mel Gibson is nuts, but he is a great actor.

Batman (1966) - 6/10. I honestly got suckered into watching this one. The channel guide said, quote, "Batman (1989). Three star rating. Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson." So, to my chagrin, I see Adam West and Burt Ward running around in long johns. But, as badly as I hate to admit it, I lol'd the entire movie. It's just nuts. And the show itself was a straight-faced parody, so I guess on some level it was intended to be that way. But the Rogues Gallery gave me the biggest laughs. Caesar Romero absolutely refused to shave off his moustache, so you can see it plain as day under all that make up. And Frank Gorshin makes me laugh just looking at him. So, in short, as a comedy, it absolutely works.

    FULL METAL JACKET - 9.7/10

There was a reason that R. Lee Ermey was one of ~4 actors that Stanley Kubrick let improvise, he's phenomenal. He completely dominates his scenes. The war sequences were great as well, but they felt like a pale shadow compared to the boot camp bits, so I have to knock off a fraction of a point for a feeling of unevenness. But if the whole movie was like the first 45 minutes, this would have indisputably been the best film ever.

    Hurt Locker: 8/10

I liked what it told, it wasn't a film of the year candidate in my eyes but still worth watching even if just once.

I actually didn't even mind Jack Black tbh. I thought the whole film was pretty darn good. Nothing like the original, which is just awesome in its own right, but I thought it was better than the version with Jeff Bridges. And I loved the toys.
