    Dirty Dancing -- 6/10

This felt older than an 80's classic. Most of the music was from the 60's, heh. Still, it was leaps and bounds better than Flashdance. Next week: Footloose.

    The Goonies - 10/10

Proof once again that the 80's was the best decade for movies.

White Heat - And the last of the Film Noirs I currently own come to an end and it ended greatly. This movie was excellent. It isn't better than Double Indemnity but it was an excellent movie. I just love the insanity of Jared in this movie and the moments of suspense going on when the truck driver was the dude who could spot Fallon in an instant was great. I give it an 8/10 stars.

Yea I meant to sorry. :(  for some reason the spoiler button wouldn't work for my iPad. But I mean the movies been out for a month, and I don't think I spoiled it too much, right? Everything I talked about as pretty much in the trailers I believe. But sorry though for no spoiler tags.

    Walking With Dinosaurs (Cretaceous Cut)
Why wasn't this the movie we saw back then... why! It's really, really miles different than that atrocious commentary version they gave us the last second. The visuals and the scenery are really gorgeous now I can pay attention to them without getting distracted by that stupid bird and friends!

Too bad it wasn't perfect. The songs were out of place and I wish they edited out the replay and Gorgosaurs analysis scene where they keep going back and forward to its tiny arms and some cartoony sound effects were still present.

    8.5/10

Sad to hear this movie isn't doing well at the BO,thought it was great. Good cast, Emily Blunt kicks all kinds of arse in it. The action, humour, pacing and execution of the premise were great. Most of all it was fun. Go see this movie!

I agree with the score and the review except I loved the first movie and while I also enjoyed the sequel I don't feel it necessarily improved upon the first movie in any way.
Favorite parts that both the audience and me enjoyed:
    The walk of shame
The discovery with the captain and Channing Tatum running around saying something I can't put here because I don't want to ruin or spoil something
The credits making fun of multiple sequels it was hilarious!

I might bump the score up to an 8/10

    Edge of Tomorrow - 9/10

Really enjoyed this one. As has been said, the pacing, acting, humour and story were well balanced.....shame it seems to be getting ovrlooked amongst the other summer flicks.

I'd place EoT almost on par with Xmen: DoFP and Cap 2 for entertainment, with bonus points for being one of the few non-sequels/reboots out this year. Go see it!

    22 Jump Street 9/10
Fucking Lord and Miller, man. As far as I know, these guys have yet to disappoint, and when their inevitable slump happens, it's going to extremely crushing. But we can rest assured that, for now, they've still got it. Arguably funnier than the first, while not quite as fresh for obvious reasons, this fully showcases Lord and Miller's talent for subversive meta-humor that manages to not feel pandering, cheap, or forced. Tatum and Hill are as great as last time, with their bromance being the glue that holds this insanity together. However, the real standout this time around is, shockingly enough, Ice Cube, who's given a larger role here and delivers what is bound to be one of the best comedic sequences of the year.
It's not quite up to the subversive, maniacal genius and pure joyous spectacle of The LEGO Movie, but it's a damn fine comedy and sometimes, that's all you need.

    Alien - A great father's day movie. 9/10.

I cannot believe you people are actually going to see 22 Jump Street. There is nothing in the trailers that made it look even remotely entertaining.

Edge of Tomorrow - 8/10 - I didn't know anything about this when I went in and i thought it was fantastic. Tom Cruise is great in the role and I had a blast from start to finish.

What??? That was one of my favorite movies growing up as a kid.

I haven't seen it in years. I might have to track it down to watch it again and see what I think of it now.

I tried. I really did. It was just annoying me to death. Maybe it would have gotten better. We'll never know.
