Everything Everywhere All at Once - 10/10

This movie is a masterpiece. Might be my favorite movie of the year so far, or at least right on par with The Batman (for different reasons of course)

Manchester by the Sea - 9.5/10

This movie is depressing as fuck. It’s incredible, idk what I’d even take the 0.5 points off for. It just leaves you feeling empty. But the acting is outstanding and the screenplay is god-tier

I've told people it's one of the best acted movies I've ever seen and I absolutely don't recommend you watch it, because it is that emotionally devastating.

HUSTLE - 8.5/10 Easily some of Adam Sandler's best work and the cameos with current and former NBA players as themselves was great... although, Kenny Smith was a bit stiff.

Uncharted 7/10: I’m a huge fan of the game series and I was worried about this one. It’s a decent adaptation. Thankfully it’s not like the Halo TV series level of “adaptation”. The tone of the movie is right. It feels like Uncharted for the most part.

The issue is the leads hurt the movie. Tom Holland is a decent Drake, but he’s not great. It feels like he is playing Peter Parker playing Nathan Drake. Holland has been in roles that doesn’t feel like him playing Spider-Man. Maybe it was Sony wanting his Drake to be kinda clean because he is Spider-Man too. This Drake barely wields a gun and I don’t think he actually hits anyone with his shots. He feels like a 12 year old Nathan Drake but Holland is playing a 25 year old Drake. I also don’t like his background in this movie. He lacks the grit that the game Drake has. Lives most of his life in NY as a bartender

Mark Wahlberg as Sully is a complete miscast. He is nothing like Sully. In ways he feels like a scumbag version of the game Nathan Drake. Sully is the cool horny Uncle. Wahlberg wasn’t that.

The actress who plays Chloe was great. No complaints. She nailed the role and was written great.

Antonio Banderas was great but cut out to soon. All the other goons were great.

So if you don’t understand the game the best way I can describe it is it’s a generic Indian Jones like adventure movie set in modern times that’s better than Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Short review. Liked it very much. Pretty much everything worked in this film and Colin had been a great director.

Black Christmas 6/10 it was pretty enjoyable for an old 70s horror flick. Although the general ineptitude and obliviousness of all involved made me roll me eyes.

What a great follow-up to everything Sam Raimi has ever directed.

Seriously the best live action movie they ever did. It’s amazing how perfect they got it on the first try.

At the time, it was the biggest independent film ever made, in terms of box office. It made $135 million and was only dethroned by the Blair Witch Project in 1999. That's one heck of a run for a kids cartoon made into a movie. Also goes to show you that kids entertainment can be made into a lucrative film franchise in the right hands.

Just came back from the 40th anniversary showing of “The Thing”! My first time watching this gory classic in a movie theater. Supposedly the Father’s Day Sunday showing had some audio and video issues but everything was perfect tonight. 10/10! Practical special effects still hold up well!

Everything Everywhere All At Once..I'm gonna make the average of this movie drop since some of y'all are way too damn generous.
    3/10
Boring as shit, took me 3 different sittings and on my phone half the time. This is how you would write and direct a movie if you were on mushrooms or ecstasy.

    G.I. Joe 35th anniversary showing: 7/10.

Nice to see this movie finally get its theater release. However, the experience was a little underwhelming due to terrible sound (very monotone), that intro should had been the best part if it was utilized with surround sound. The picture was ok but looks more like a dvd cut from 2010/2011. I just realized that whole film took place within 1-2 days or at least that's how it felt. The last half of the film still brings warmth to me, especially when Sgt. Slaughter is laying the beatdown on Nemesis enforcer. That scene still cracks me up to this very day.
