    Death Wish (2018) - 8/10

Thought it was a surprisingly well done remake. Though there were a couple moments of splatter, this is the least Eli Roth-iest film Eli Roth has made.

Went in knowing nothing about it, really enjoyed the Black Mirror vibes it gave off and cool general idea, but it suffers from a slightly underwhelming ending.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - 8/10

Some scattered thoughts I put down in another thread -

Overall, it's definitely worth a watch and is required viewing if you intend to see the final installment in 2021.

New rankings of the JP franchise after mulling things over for a bit:
    1. Jurassic Park (obviously)
    2. JW: Fallen Kingdom
    3. JP: The Lost World
    4. Jurassic World
    5. JP3

Surprisingly awesome film. Some really cool camera work, loved the body horror, cool deaths, one of the best AIs in film in a long time (up there with Joi in 2049), just really impressed with what the crew managed.

I won't ask for explicit details.... That said, it's pretty much spoiled before you go in?? I do remember Claire's line about it all being a lie, which tells me they've been conned and this is all about money.

Not everything. They did spoil a lot in the trailers though...

Without giving more away, yes, the trailers give you the condensed main plot. Claire's line about it being "all a lie" comes about 30 mins into the movie, so it's not supposed to be a big twist at the end of the film.

You know you can choose not to watch every trailer and TV spots they release, right?

The fuck how am i to blame here? If they choose to show basically all the outcomes of the scenes including
    the freaking ending
    its on them.

I only watched the first teaser and the trailer and skipped everything else. How safe am I?

That's friggin' ridiculous. Might as well not go see movies these days..

You know it's sad when a trailer's selling point is the comments saying "Ooh! They didn't spoil it!" That should be the norm, not the exception.

I think thats my main issue with it. There's no replay value thanks to the trailers. Cause we've already seen all the exciting parts so many times. And It's not including the tv spots and the clips.
