Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation 7/10 On a side not, I never thought the movie was going to start. They showed 8 trailers before the movie started. Took up almost 30 minutes. 8 trailers is way too many.

Heh. There's a theater in my town, located in our dying mall and it shows a bare minimum of 30 minutes of filler crap before the movie starts. Several trailers, warnings about phones and what not, but commercials also. Including local ones. I mean actual, this is what airs on TV, commercials.

Can't even escape them in a pay format. Ridiculous.

    DBZ revival of F.

It was a fun movie to watch in theatres the only thing that wasn't at least good was that it kinda dragged on a bit.

But aside from that it was a fun time.

I don't mind seeing a lot of trailers on the big screen, but I hate the abundance of TV commercials before the trailers. I wish they would just show more trailers than the same M&M's ad three times.

    Insurgent - 8/10

Saw in theaters in terrible 3D to the point I couldn't see it well. Bought on DVD last night before seeing DBZRF and just watched it again. The only problem I had was that they cut half the book. I still like who they picked to play Four cause I love seeing him and Tris together. I'm so excited to see Allegiant Part 1 next year!

You are the first person to have any sort of review posted. That makes me happy because I was kind of worried there.

The Lady Vanishes - This was really really good. There were times it felt more like a comedy mixed into a suspense thriller, and yet, the blend was perfect. The characters were all interesting and had their own little quirks to them. The plot was intriguing even if the outcome was slightly predictable (but it probably wasn't back in 1938). And everything just kept you engaged. It also had a great build up and never felt like it was dragging on at all. I give it a nice 8/10 stars.

    The Divergent Series: Insurgent- 6.75/10
I enjoyed the first movie. It had some good ideas even though it was a lesser version of The Hunger Games, and I liked the characters and Tris's progression. This movie is a step down from that, and I'm pretty sure it's because of a director change up. Robert Schwentke hasn't made a lot of good movies, and it seems like he was far more focused on the action scenes. Though I do have to give credit for the fact that the fight scenes are actually fairly well-done and not edited to crap. However, none of them are really memorable. I thought the plot was a little cliche, but there were few really good scenes where they either point out the hypocrisy of such a society and the trial scene in the middle of the movie. I was really surprised that the movie killed off most of its villains already when there are still two more movies to go. Even the supporting actors were wasted even though I've heard a few of them had a bigger role in the book. I just wasn't as invested in this movie, and now I'm concerned about the next two sequels. The best part of this movie is Miles Teller though. His character was just an asshole in the first book, but Teller gives him a more self-serving, devious, funny, and almost Loki-like personality. He has the best lines in the movie, and his character actually develops too. Also, I have only read the first book in the series, but I've heard that this one goes very far off the rails with the box scenes and certain characters. I find that so strange when the first movie was actually really faithful to the book and only cut out things that might be too violent for a PG-13 rating and more trivial subplots with the supporting characters.

    Game of Death
considering Bruce Lee's death it was expected this movie won't be as good as it was supposed to be, and it indeed wasn't that good. The story made little to no sense, fight scenes weren't meshed that well, and the soundtrack... that same fanfare repeating over and over again I got sick of it. So while it was nice they've decided to finish this piece, I think it didn't deliver as strongly as the rest of his movies.

The Lion King II: Simba's Pride- 6.5/10

I had never really watched this from start to finish all the way through but as far as direct-to DVD sequels go, this is pretty decent. It's got solid enough on the story, characters and animation.

Shaun the Sheep Movie - 8/10

There's nothing wrong with it bar the pacing, simplicity, and juvenile humour. Otherwise it was an excellent watch that made me feel great...until I went onto these boards.
