Made a separate thread for the TLK kits since the other one focuses on the Bumblebee movie.

I'm curious to see if this company (?) will branch out into other areas of the franchise, since their model kits seem to be pretty decent quality.

Legitimately shocked this is still happening, but the snail pace release schedule of these things seriously kills the hype.

It looks good, and the shots at the bottom of the stock built model hows good paint and parts separation.

Eh, it really just discusses the Trumpeter kits in general. the TLK models were posted in there back when they were revealed.

Cool, pre-painted is the best part of this for me. I'm terrible at painting, just the worst. I once painted a birdhouse for my mom and it was condemned by the FHA and the ASPCA. It was a bad scene.

Shiiiiit. I like this one a lot. Maybe instead of Gunpla I'll start assembling all the Trumpeter kits that have been released so far.

As someone who's built Bandai's "transforming" Gundam models... I'm not entirely sure they do. :lol

(who knows, maybe the 3.0 Zeta will finally buck the trend?)

Uh, are we certain on that height? Because that would make this just a hair over 3” tall…

That's about the size of the other model kits in this line, so yes. The first BBM Bumblebee was about Core sized.

Oh man, I'm so glad this is actually getting released! Absolutely going to pick one up, the pre-paint is kinda neat but I'm sure there's some details I can add myself. Hope to see some more Bayverse model kits in the future!

The problem is transforming Bandai kits rarely look passable in alt mode without either serious partsforming, or massive amounts of kibble. And even then it’s incredibly obvious it’s just a humanoid shape scrunched up.

Oh neat. So they are making more of them. I'm personally not into this guy, but it's nice to see a Transformers model kit line actually making out alive.

I was going to say, Bandai's transforming Gundam kits just amounts to folding the legs and arms into one another to form a vague aircraft looking thing. It's nothing at the caliber that Transformers would require. The amount of twisting, turning, and shoving pieces under one another that is required—I just can't see it resulting in anything other than a hand grenade.

Maybe it's possible, but honestly, I'm totally okay with robot-only figures. Not having a dependency on an alt mode results in a much better looking figure anyways.
