Hi, I have a question about this new voyager megatron. I know the leader will have landing gear, at least a front landing gear, as showed in youtube videos from NY Toy Fair. Does the voyager have any landing gear? Thank you.

Reverse trust is used for braking on some planes.

Pretty sure that's a gap for the hands to fold up for transformation.

The size just Isn't doing it for me, I'm going to wait for the leader class.

It's Hasbro, their marketing team probably thinks repaints are more exciting than new molds.

I want this Megatron but I'll wait to see what repaints Hasbro comes up with. For a 1st release they did pretty well with these Megatrons, surprisingly.

You make it sound as if this is the first time Hasbro has pulled this crap. Remember DotM, when Leadfoot was supposed to be a Target exclusive, but they released the translucent versions of Arcee, Jazz, Bumblebee, and Spacecase first instead? I'm pretty sure the first wave of RotF was retools of movie 1 figures too.

And I didn't understand it then either. I mean, frontloading repaints helped kill the Human Alliance subline, a mismanagement that I'm still not over. I loved the HA cars.

I'm looking at it...and I can see where you might think that. But it also looks like it might be a black panel creating an illusion of a gap. that's especially what it looks like on the other arm to me.

And I see why you might think that. But I'm pretty certain it's a gap. Would be nice if there was panels to cover it up though.

There's plastic flash on the "gap", though. There IS a big giant armpit gap...

... and other than Arcee, those flew off the shelves. Seriously, I saw Space Case literally once (and I'm thankful I found him at all... he is my favorite DOTM figure).

Funny... maybe I am crazy, but the transformation reminds me a lot 2010 HFTD Terradive (even the fact that the wings end up in the legs).
Aaaah, good times when deluxe figures have three retractable landing gears...

Same here, I've been wanting a figure of the ultimate evil himself for a while now and this will make a descent place holder until we do get a Liege Maximo figure (which I doubt will ever happen). I'd laugh if we got a green oversized KO of this guy.

Thank you, that's the other example I was trying to think of. Dropped black repaints of HA Bumblebee and Skids and never gave us the new mold of Soundwave. That was effing stupid.

"Flew off the shelves" I think is a little extreme. The only one that really sold a lot was Spacecase. The others were "meh" at best. And when it comes down to it, I'm sure many would've preferred they completed the Wreckers trio that actually appeared in the movie without paying ridiculous import/aftermarket prices, instead of a repaint of Terradive.

Yeah there is. The red parts of the head is a transparent plastic.

    No landing gear.

That's what previous posts have stated. If not, then Hasbro and Takara are redeemed to their correct names.

(Yes, really. I'm thinking of making t-shirts).
