Vehicle mode: A solid police car. Clear windows, both his nightstick and pistol stow under the car. The wrist-gatling thing unfolds and mounts on the back of the car. I think it's trying to look like reinforcement, Mad Max-style? Rolls really well.

Transformation: Pretty straight forward, involved enough to feel satisfying but not too simple. Only tough part is that figuring out exactly how to align the arms under the hood of the car is a bit tough. Hits the sweet spot of simple yet satisfying for me.

Robot mode: Just really fun. He's got great articulation, including wrist swivels, 3 weapons (all of which can be mounted on his robot mode), and adjustable ankles! The nightstick is particularly fun; it can be held as a club but it has another 5mm post on the side so it can be held tonfa-style. The wrist gatling plugs into the bottom of the forearm. Also I adore his fists, which have "PROTECT" and "SERVE" printed backwards on them. He looks and feels like a bruiser and just screams "police brutality" (... that... is rarely a positive sentence, huh?).

Bottom line: Really fun figure. Intuitive but involved transformation and fun weapons.

Great review. I do think his redesign is an improvement over the '07 version.

And I think your photos could use more yellow and more sideways.

The ironic knuckle dusters actually being sculpted in is wonderful.

I only wish the backpack could fold over itself or something.

Thanks for the review. I don't get many movie bots, but I quite like the look of this

Even though the backpack is still shite, the toy itself looks pretty fun with all the accessories included.

Frankly he looks pretty fun and good, it only needed the backpack folding once to make him perfect. Like the accessories.

    That backpack, tho.

Sounds like a fun toy, just not $20 fun.

I saw someone suggest that they could've made the roof removable to act as a riot shield, sadly it's apparently not possible.

Agreed. The base robot looks pretty decent, and even fairly accurate to the CGI model. But like with Drift, the back-pack kills it for me

Looks cool, thanks for the review!

One question: can the backpack come off maybe? I've been wondering if it can detach and be used as a riot shield. :p

So not without knocking out a few pins, sadly. Also no means to hold it if you did.
