    Love how Optimus has a dragon and Megatron has tiger skin; those two animals are like yin and yang.

    This is awesome!
    I love this bumblebee, he has a battle drum. That chinese god who symbolizes him is just a battle drum god.

    It's actually Chinese, I can tell based on the characters.

    It is Chinese however. I see your point though, Japanese art is influenced by Chinese art.

    Bumblebee's name in Chinese is '大黃蜂'.

    While his Japanese name is バンブルビー Banburubī according to TFWiki.

    Katakana as written there didn't exist during the time this artwork is attempting to depict as far as I'm aware.
