For what it's worth, I wasn't anywhere near as careful when swapping the heads. I just popped the factory head off from the back of the torso and pushed the new one in its place. I did use a small tool to make sure the ball and neck were properly seated by pushing, but that was as complicated as it got for me. That said, only do what you're comfortable doing. I don't want to advocate taking any unnecessary risks.
I have you down on the list. It is a longer list than expected and I've given away all my Blurrs, but I'll get back to you on Kup head availability.
Oh, just saw these over in the Nonnef thread in 3rd Party, and I need them. That Kup head is so much better than the one that came on the figure.
Yes, the Kup heads look great. The stock face was the only thing that lept me from buying the SS86 Kup. Now I want him if I can get the replacment heads.
Unfortunately it looks like I might be too late to this party as I stepped away for a few months and didn't notice this happening. I would pay an outrageous fortune for Kup, Buzzworthy Kup, Blurr, and Cyclonus head replacements as those have the saddest faces in the line. These are just amazing works of art in my opinion. Capturing the expressions of the animated characters to such accuracy and with such a spirt of care and attention is incredible. If there are none left, I might have to finally dig in and learn how to 3D print myself! How do you guys paint match so well?
I know I said it before, but I just have to say again how much I love my BB SS86 Kup heads. Thanks again. I wanted to ask @The Madness , would u ever consider doing a Yaniger style Optimus head for Earthrise Prime and/or Legacy G2? Like from the Cover of G2 #1. That would be super sweet. Without the shells of course, or what the hell, with em too lol.
Fantastic work!! Would you consider making alternative heads for a few recent figures? Inner robot heads for Skullgrin, Bombburst and Iguanus. Toy accurate heads for Pointblank, Dead End and Dragstrip.
