Aces and Ace are definitely different. Aces was out of LA if I recall, whereas Ace is out of China.

 

So based on the Feral Rex KO preorder, how long is the process from this April 10th deadline to when it is actually shipped and in hand?

 

Hey Gang, are there any reviews of the KO ROTF Megatron. There is some new crazy arm coming out for it and it makes me wanna get the KO, but I have not heard anything about the KO in this thread.

 

It said it was due mid April, so I'm guessing somewhere near the beginning of May. Just in time for the perfect Mother's Day gift!

 

I posted about it a few times.

It's great. I've never had the real thing, but I would swear that's what it was. Says "I am Megatron!" when you activate the lights and sound. KO comes with a KO UFO arm that's slightly different.

A great figure, at least in my opinion.

For what it's worth, I made a purchase off of Acetoy.net (WST Sixtrain KO), about a year ago.

I sent an email to their gmail address to get a quote for shipping to Australia, and then asked them to reply email a Paypal invoice for payment, rather than creating an account on the site.

It arrived a couple of weeks later without issue (I asked for economy shipping).

yes, i have the green one, it's really nice.

 

Fwiw, anytime you see a boxed set of constructions with Devastator pictured on the right, with all actual constructions on the left, it is a ko. All reissues I believe have Devastator pictured in the center with 3 constructions on either side.

That, and only the green version was ever sold as an official box set.

For KO reference, there are sets of green, yellow, orange, white, black... and I swear I seen a blue one waaaaaay back when.

Every once in a while I had seen this KO listed on ebay over the past few years but paid it little mind with no interest, until recently as my interests have steered towards the more "exclusive" and "Japan Only" Transformer figures. Not too long ago I acquired a Road Caesar KO giftset (and being absolutely enamored with it) this KO Braver quickly came to the forefront of my mind as a "must have." As always I did my research but oddly came up empty handed with little more than a few stray pictures kicking around on google to go on, and all of them still sealed in the package. With my interest peaked and for once a full wallet I decided to take a chance, and boy did I get what I paid for. For all you hard working people out there who can't afford to buy a dud, I have fallen on our collective sword and taken one for the team. Here is a perfect example of where a little bit of knowledge can go a long way to avoiding buyer's remorse. I hereby present to you: THE WORLD'S WORST K.O. TRANSFORMER. EVERRRRRRRRRRRR. (IMHO)
To say that the plastic is "shampoo bottle" quality would be an insult to Head and Shoulders everywhere. His true name should be "Badder" as in every one of his attributes is worse than the last. The plastic is so bad you could probably see in to the future if you looked hard enough. It's so bendy and pliable it would make Stretch Armstrong blush. And the Stickers you ask? How about so bad they make Sonokong labels look like they adhere with the strength of super glue. This figure is BEYOND BAD. And not Michael Jackson BAD. But bad like you wouldn't waste firecrackers blowing it up, or spend your time throwing it away because that requires effort. This is so bad you WOULD "wish" it on your worst enemy, or even consider "Gifting" it to the crappiest ebay customer you ever had. Again this is my humble opinion, I'm sure there are people who might even have their own dud story, and I'd like to hear it. Why not, tell us all about your worst? I'm putting this out there in the hopes of saving someone some money, especially with all the sellers out there trying to charge an unsuspecting buyer an unfair amount of money like it's an unknown gem. It's a gem alright, a polished turd.
