I’m mostly fine with the Hasbro Sharkticons but I’ll buy some OS ones just because. I’m glad they’re not ridiculously oversized too. I hope the people behind this also take on the Allicons and the Bailiff remold.

Wouldn’t mind some OS Quintessons either… the ER Quint’s jail mold could benefit from a larger size. Even the Cyberverse Quint would be better if made larger.

The price is about right.
I remember the PE ultra magnus core fighter (which is this figure based on) has a KO, and that one was selling as low as $18 USD before.

It's a universal agreement somewhere for knockoff sharkticons:

Thou shalt sell sharkticons in threes, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt sell, and the number of the sales shall be three. Thou shalt not sell singles, and neither sellest thou two. Five is right out.

 

Hound looks great. How is the overall quality and build? Any issues with transforming him to robot and vehicle mode?

My biggest problem was putting the shoulder joint into place, that was scary. Everything else went smooth after watching EmGo's JTI video.

 

He's a great KO. I have one myself. The Real one sits in the Shelf. I put him in bot mode and haven't touched him since. But the KO I fiddle with almost daily. Same goes with my KO MP44 and the real MP44.

I am at the point I might just buy nothing but the KOS. I am tired of buying over priced statues. I buy a Transformer to play with not to be scared to even touch it.

Just got a box o' stuff, including the Oversized Iron Factory Jetfire.

It is quite nice, but at the same time I'm a little disappointed. The transformation is sort of clunky, and even with tabs, it kind of just feels like a lot of the parts are just sitting there -- but that's really more about the original design itself, not the KO. Although there are lots of joints and moving parts, it does still feel like this figure is a bit limited by being scaled up from a smallish figure.

Quality feels very good. Rugged and high-end, moreso than most Hasbro figures, not knockoffish at all. However, it did break almost immediately after I got it. There's a small flap behind his neck to fill the gap behind the head in bot mode. It's held in place by two rather flimsy hinges, and they just came right off. I wasn't even applying any force, so very surprising.

Anyway, it's not essential to transformation and is barely noticeable, so I'm not too frustrated, but it does lead me to question whether that was a fluke, or if the plastic isn't as tough as it seems. There are a lot of VERY tight joints on this figure, so I recommend buyers to go lightly, even if it feels like this figure should be able to take it.

There are a million KOs of IF War Giant (Bruticus) across the net, and some claim to be oversized but have the same dimensions as the original.
My question, is there a KO of IF War Giant OS to roughly CHUG scale known to exist?

 

I only know of the same sized ko of war giant. There are a ton of other Bruticus ko's out there.

 

I've only seen KOs that are 1:1. Nothing CHUG scaled, to my knowledge

 

I think the one that claims to be oversized is just regular size. That version is of extremely high quality, considered to be identical to the original Iron Factory version.

But nothing CHUG scale, sadly.

Is there a 1:1 KO of MP-10 that's reasonably priced? I'm suddenly in need of a new MP Optimus. I previously owned MP-10 and the Magic Square and Transform Element Primes, the MS was probably my favorite of the three but I'm not seeing any of those for decent prices.

 

Check Ali, I've seen some MP-10 KOs popping up recently for decent prices. Also, the MS 2.0 is releasing soon, if that's of interest.

 

I did check that thread, doesn't look so good to me. I'll check Ali again.
