Has anyone heard about this KO?
Looks to be another Generation Toy IDW Optimus KO:

I thought it might be the Daban Model one but this figure looks like it has plastic wheels and is a lot cheaper. Also looks like the roof bit is simplified on this version.

Sure enough. It’s strange seeing Daban name next to an original figure though. Definitely tempted to grab one after seeing the other thread.

 

The vehicle mode reminds me of the Optimus Prime from The Ultimate Battle 2-pack.

 

Is anyone else been having an issue where nearly everything on Aliexpress can't says "oops something went wrong" or "this item can't be shipped to the United States?" These are stores I've shopped at for years suddenly locked to me.

 

Does any know if anyone made a Mp-36 KO was made undersized to match up KBB MP10V ?

 

I’ve had that with a lot of stores as of recent. But the stores I usually shop are shipping stateside no issue.

 

Daban made a deluxe-ish IDW optimus prime that was separate from GT or any hasbro design, this looks like it got re-released, and for a steal too! The 1:1 ko of GT is 9903.

 

Not to my knowledge. I don't think any other figures were produced by KBB in that MP10v scale, and generally MP figures don't down-size well, since there's often a lot of small parts and details that become problematic when you reduce them that much. MP36 came out quite some time after MP10v.

To have a Megatron to match MP10v, you'll probably just want to look at the array of voyager-sized Megatron figures out there, and pick one that seems to match the aesthetic as much as possible.

MP10v looks and feels fantastic, but it's tricky to find a good scale match for it. He's a tall voyager figure, but his proportions are leaner than most voyager figures tend to be. For example, I think he's taller than Siege/ER Megatron, but way skinnier, and with a relatively small head.

The closest I got to match MP10V was with Toys Zeta EX02 which is just Toyworld Hegemon in a better colour. Height wise they come close, but the Hegemon is very old mold, which shows its age.

Been a while since I looked for closer match, but sadly doesn't seem much has changed. Was hoping I missed something.

 

The mid range upscale of Siege Megatron works and is about the right height. It has some die cast so it matches MP10V in that regard.

 

Height wise I think he needs the old slipper upgrade to make him stand better with MP10V. Of course I agree he’s very outdated. I think a new head with a modern face sculpt would actually improve his look significantly.

That’s what I’ve been using for my MP10V and I think he works well enough.

Really? That mid-range KO Siege Megatron is a lot bigger than MP10v, isn't he?

I mean, which is fine if you want a Megatron that's bigger than Prime. I haven't compared mine recently, but there must be a considerable size disparity there, no?

Mine seemed about around the same size. There are pics in some of these threads. Megatron is slightly bigger but it works well enough to me. I would take some myself but my MP10V broke and is now potential custom fodder.

 

Yeah, I just moved, so all of mine are packed in boxes currently... waiting to be opened before I'll know if any broke in transit, lol

I had on the parts bin two members of the Devastator repaint so i took a quick comparison pic with them

Same size as the originals, so you can mix and switch parts

Someone tell BensKOllectables, a cheap junker off ebay and he can repair his broken KO from his latest video no problem
