Well, keep in mind his combination is not standard compared to Transformers, JRX is similar to the Beast Combiners in engineering and only 3 members, while Build King system has a joint system never ever used again, but allowed different configurations

Everything, inspired by the Brave line during the 90s and their weird combiners

I ordered the green Landfill from AliExpress a few days ago. I'll be giving it the Targetmaster partners I designed for the Landfill crew, although I might be recoloring them green and purple.

Plus they will get Shattered Glass Autobot labels.

Oh for the time especially, both JRX and Build King are rather excellent toys. The unconventional combiner designs are very neat. I liked the way Build King had different configurations, since his "official" configuration was probably the weakest.

Although the build quality and finish on both sets is very well done, there are ways that the figures feel a bit limited by modern standards. At the time though, they were something quite special!

Of all the molds to knock off, why the most anachronistic ones in the Real Gear 07 series?

Ouch! It certainly serves to remind me how old the Real Gear line is now! Yikes!

The camcorder-bot actually does line up rather accurately to many mini-camcorders that were on the market in the previous decade or so. The phone-bot's pretty great too. The mini game console bot is probably one of the weakest Real Gear figures.

Did Studio Series Wreck-Gar get KOd? Seen several listings pop up on Amazon… although they all have ridiculous pricing.

This is the only one that explicitly uses KO in the title, but others have similar descriptions. Just seemed weird.

I could use a good affordable KO of the mold anyway.

So, I came across this offbrand Lego set that very clearly forms a Not-Devastator.

It says you can connect all the vehicles without dissassembly, but one look at the robot and it’s clear thats not possible.

Whats crazy is this boxart. In person it looked amazing… and had to be stolen from a talented artist, I’m sure.

Odd to use Metro Tunnel art for a construction set when it fits better with a train one.

I didn't realize it took 2,5 week for this to arrive, bought it from GiftLove through AliE. Something which doesn't come up on the pictures is dark brown paint wash on most "fur" parts (I think it's only absent on fists and feet). As you can see, scales nicely with Megatron (very accurate to BW cartoon if you ask me) but terribly with everything else. Closed faceplate face is just front of the head, there's no screw, so I guess I just have to gently (to avoid paint damage) pry it off if I want to swap it. Accessories - swords don't fit into hands, maybe removing paint from the handles would help, mace is ok as long as I push it all the way (otherwise it's pretty loose fit). Can't tell if there's any die cast, figure is quite light, so I guess there's none, since it's 34*C today, it's impossible to search for "cold parts" which would tip me which parts are die cast. Of course chain is made out of metal. Joints are all nice and tight (even too tight, waist offers a lot of resistance :) ). No simplifications, there's added mechanism in the whole head assembly which pushes it towards back of the figure (so the whole assembly stays in place all the time). Didn't transform it yet.

That is definitely not accurate scaling with Megatron for the cartoon. The non KO is far better for that. Primal was small compared to Megatron.

While not show accurate size, I still prefer the size of this figure compared to the official.

Got CDL 01 (KO Nicee). Don't think mods allow me to post pics but it's good quality. Plastic and paint seem different from the original but it's fine to me. Tight joints and transforms well.

Well worth the $75 from showz, especially if you didn't get the original.

Well they had the right idea about keeping the 5mm compatability - but it might have been better to keep the proportions and just make the hole in the hand smaller.

Interesting colour choice. Looks like all this Overscale Beast Wars is on my Radar - I'll have to look into price and availability of it.
