I remember we saw these here a few months ago, and they generated some real curiosity... but then it seems like we haven't heard anything since. :(

@SirToys Paul have you seen those new oversized Combiner Wars jets and tanks around yet?

The Outback upscale to more or less Deluxe makes more sense to me - I like when we get that sort of thing as it's not often that is happens without it being on a heavily simplified item or being to large for many uses. A deluxe Brawn/Outback even with a funny head is a better fit with WFCT Huffer, Pipes, Warpath and the like.

Even if I suspect a lot of people still use the Legends class Prime wars stuff as their default minibot characters.

Oh, sorry. I read it wrong because I was sleepy when I got off work.

I also had Defensor's 1:1 KO and tried to install TCW-02, not C+ Custom. In the case of TCW-02, most of the parts were compatible, but the pins had to be sanded for replace the thighs. I think C+ Custom will be compatible with some modifications (may not be necessary).

Seems like they're export market only. I asked some of the wholesalers I know and they can't get them.

I did paste their company name into my map app and it shows exactly where they are :)  a few hours away by the fast train. And thanks to WeiJiang (labeled a criminal gang in the police report) I could just walk in there and force them to sell me some. What are they going to do, call the cops? :)  but it's a bit far to go just to sell a few figures.

Have you ever done that before? What do you say, tho?

I'd imagine it'll be like a Chinese version of a "I'll make him an offer he cannot refuse". :D

Not possible to call them directly? They won't entertain you? Or do these things have to be done hush hush in person?

Or you can treat it like going there to make a connection with them, so that they will release future stuff to you as well if you need. Not sure if that's how things work over there.

They're in Shantou, isn't that where a lot of the factories are? I'm seeing some stuff on that export website that I've never seen on Taobao. Maybe you can whack a few companies in Shantou while you're at it, to make it worth your while.

Nice. Tried punching the name into taobao but it doesn't give any hits either. Guess this is another one of those export-only companies, or just another front Shunqiren is using.

It's a wholesales platform so you need to use the form below to request a quote and negotiate a deal. You could also try using the "Buy Samples" option if you just want 1 not 480pcs. I think they may reject you if you don't look like a business though.

Force them to sell you several crates! :)

I actually wonder if these would fit the criteria for IP theft, or if they'd be considered acceptably "different" from the original toys? A lot of the items that were showcased in the Weijiang debacle were pretty explicit copies / renditions of recognizable Hasbro / Movie characters. Not sure where the line is in a market like China's, which has been dominated by knock-offs for so long.

Yes, I know it, but if you see on color option there are only blue (blue hound) and military green (movie ratchet), there are not option about the combiners showed in the pictures...

Who customized these? They look really good, but you can tell they have been "touched".

No, I'd have to go there and do something.

Yeah, I got the OS Outback, but it's pretty terrible. The plastic is okay, but the mould has been simplified to the point it no longer has the heel spurs and cannot stand up and there are no elbow joints. I wouldn't recommend.

Yea it doesn’t have the auto bot logo, so is it a ko of the weijing mold OR is it a weijing color variant?

sorry if I’m slow, been running on little sleep for weeks :/

It's not a KO of a KO... It's an exclusive release for TCP.
