Yeah, me too, all 3 of these weren't really all that necessary. Should have made other ones. But I guess doing stuff that's already been done is what KO companies do :)

On a side note, diorama piece for Hoist and Grapple :)

Is anyone able to access Robot Hero's Weibo page? I would like to know if there are any updates on their OSKO Sunstorm. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, sorry. I got you mixed up with someone else. I didn't know you were in Kentucky.

But that's even easier, since Sirtoys' prices are all in USD. Shipping is a little bit pricey if you're only getting one item, but if you pick up a few things, it starts to even out more.

Is the Ko of the UW Defensor good quality?

I bought one of the Hasbro limbs (First Aid I think) and that already felt like a cheap KO. Since normal KO's always feel like lower quality, I worry that it will be total crap (should I buy it).

The shoulder joints in combined mode are non-existent. Those should have ideally been ratchets. But for the price paid for each bot (think it was around £10-12 each, shipped, from hzj401), I can't really complain all that much. Really happy with em when all is said and done.

On a separate note; does anyone have the OS KO Siege Hound at all?
How easy would you say he is to take apart to repaint? I was thinking of repainting him and making Swindle from him.

I found this page but It only shows a bit of a gallery - looks like they've gone with a colour similar to the iGear version, more orange, rather than the yellow of Hasbro? ;)

EDIT: Actually that post is nearly 3 years old? Found this link but again no new updates for years?

I bought a set recently but the quality is a little loose on some bots, paint apps where good but I was sent a regular Fist Aid instead of the UW deco First Aid which I was annoyed about. :(

Thanks. Back then I was more into MP thus I didn't care about the CW combiners that much -- plus, as said, the few figures I did get felt of lower quality to me than I prefer. Slightly changed my collection focus and now they would fit in. Ideally for me would be a mix between the Hasbro and TT deco's. Streetwise definitely has to be grey, but otherwise I find the look of the UW too toony for my taste.

Robot Hero released four version (SW, G1 Scream, Greenscream and TC -- I have the last two and love them) and teased an Acid Storm and Sunstorm.

I absolutely would buy that Sunstorm should they release it. But it's been years since and all they released (to my knowledge) in between was an upgrade set for these (some weapons). There was also talk about one maker of seeker KO's (but no clue on which one, YM, KBB, RH or the other OS KO) having scored badly with these meaning that future releases were unlikely.

I fear that this Sunstorm will never happen, but I put it every year on my planned purchase list and have considered placing a pre-order for it hoping that it will entice them to make it.

I may live to regret asking this question but curiosity has got the better of me, does anybody have a comparison shot of the KO red Defensor First Aid & CW Ironhide that shows how close (or not) their reds are?

I think what with the Siege "Seeker" 3 pack any Yellow Sunstorm can perhaps be retroactively regarded as actually being Novastorm, with the comic and G1-reissue Orange colour being the colour actually Sunstorm is supposed to be.

I'd like more actually Orange Sunstorm toys too.

I've got a red Defensor KO on the way. If nobody gets in before I'll post a comparison when I get it.

Cheers, bud, but fellow UKer @robotmel stepped up in the UK thread, turns out the KO red is a bit more vivid/intense and thus not fit for my purpose. Much appreciation for the offer though! :thumb

I have a question regarding JJ-02, Silverbolt to be exact :) . Is there any way for him to hold gun and shield in robot mode? Shield doesn't have any tabs while none of the tabs on gun fits into hand nor forearm. Only place gun handle fits is his back (jet mode nosecone), maybe I'm missing something?

Had a quick peek- I honestly can't see a difference in those reds. One type might be glossier to my eyes, but the shade looks the same.
